Please don't use Cottman Transmission for your Transmission repair service.
I think they work in conjuction i think with oil change companies to ruin your car, so you have to use them.
You tell me.
Here is my story. I pull in for routine oil change at Valvoline, Indep, Mo, nothing wrong with my Transmission at all. The very next day, after a unusually long time with my care, all of sudden my Transmission is shot.
Miraculously, the guy at Valvoline has a coupon for Cottman on him. I should have know then they in it togeter. Well, long story short, let them fix my Transmission, and i use that loosely, and it has never been the same. I took it back to them, and they say, hey nothing wrong with it. Does this sound familiar? Then then after a few more months, the transmission starts to fall apart. These guys will never honor their Warranty, and the Corp office is no help. I spend 2 weeks trying to get these dishonest guys to honor warranty to no avail.
I wanrned them not to jerk me around, and they did not take me seriously. I will be filing a lawsuit against them, and will be contacting every major news outlet to make everyone aware not to use, or trust this company.
They are liars, and do dirty business, and i am ready to shut them, and their dirty tactics down. I may take a while, but i am up to to the challenge. They will never forget this moment in time.
I know i am not the only victim, but i may be the maddest. So, stand by and watch the show.

I have a feeling you guys will be in court for years to come. Just look at the reports on your company. I smell class action coming. I'm sure there will be plenty of consumers join in. Let play.

The reason WHY they will not help you is two fold. One is YOUR attitude. Even from your post it can be clearly seen that YOU are a PITA customer. Second, a warrenty IS NOT YOUR personal gold card. Even you state........ Then then after a few more months, the transmission starts to fall apart. These guys will never honor their Warranty, and the Corp office is no help.......So YOU have driven the vehicle for awhile, which means that the only warrenty YOU had is the 30 day. Which would mean that since you already went to corporate and THEY denied you, then the warrenty was a 30 day. Sounds to me that YOU want THEm to eat the costs of the repair well after YOUR warrenty expires. We both know THAT isn't going to happen. I would wish you luck in your attempt to close them down, but I really don't see that happening. YOU can be as mad as you like, it wont change reality. If I were YOU I would be MORE worried about the slander and defamation YOU have leveled against THEM. It IS actionable and THEY can PROVE it was YOU who wrote the post. See the web by definition is a MEDIA OUTLET. When you publish on a media outlet, there are things you can and cannot do. YOU have accused them working together to BREAK your car, THAT is slander AND defamation. YOU are not anonymous online. EVERYTHING you do is recorded somewhere. All it takes is a court order and BINGO!!!!! THEY will have all the proof THEY need. Im guessing YOU do not understand HOW a computer works. I mean OTHER then hitting the on/off button. No matter how you try to delete information on your computer, there is ALWAYS a trace or footprint of THAT information. SO if they do choose to sue you, they will take your computer and have even MORE proof against you. So in closing, PLEASE be more careful in the future as to WHAT you "say" online.
