We were scheduled to move on April 24th. The movers called us on 4/15 and informed us that they were going to arrive early, 4/17/14. We were surprised but we were willing to finish packing and scramble in order to be ready for the movers once they arrived.

They arrived at 8 AM the morning of 4/17/2014. Two men greeted us at the door. They adivsed us it wouldn't take but 4-5 hours to disassemble our furniture and pack it into the truck.

The younger of the two men spent a lot of time hanging out on our front porch flirting with my 11 year old daughter and two 16 year old daughters. I asked him to step back into the house to stay focused on packing up our furniture. He would return to working for a short while but be found again, trying to chat, flirt and obtain cell numbers from my daughers. (I didn't know all of the details until AFTER the men were done packing our thigns up).

They took ALL day and a good portion of the night to pack our things into the truck. It was 10 PM when they were finally done. It was finally time to go over the paperwork and the bill. We were quoted $3535.80, aware this number was subject to change as it was a raw estimate. When all was said and done, the gentleman quoted us over 12 thousand dollars. We were shocked - we didn't have that kind of money. My husband called the manager who said he could reduce it to 9600.00. Money we really didn't have.

At this time, we still didn't know about the other guy trolling my daughters for cell numbers, he was outside doing this while we were in the house settling the details. We were stuck- we were homeless and needed to ensure our things were moved. We paid a portion of the final cost and crossed our fingers. Once our daughter disclosed the other information, my husband reported this to the manager. He said he would address it, he did not offer credit, he did not act surprised. We wanted to just move on and be done with this BS company once and for all.

Our things arrived on the day we expected. The movers bringing our thing sinto the house and setting it up were by far, better than the ones that packed our things up. Sadly, during the move, our things were broken. A bed was broken and some of our dishes were broken.

I dare say this was the worst experience for us. We ended up paying 6 thousand more than our quote, we were able to talk that down by complaining about how long it took the movers, how we were displaced from our home 9 days early to accomodate the company. I feel what they did was completely criminal.

We had to use money orders for this move, the company accepted nothing else.
