Back in 2004 when i was with covenant i was passing thru new mexico and came up to a port of entry, the guard was an a**and told me to pull into the inspection bay where he nailed me with a level 1 inspection and then put me out of service claiming the steering wheel was too loose and then sited me for something else i dont remember what for exactly but how convienant that the guard had someone on the side of the inspection bays that made repairs. so after the repairs were made i was sent on my way.  i also started putting in for time off and never did get it to take care of the ticket. so one day i said to hell with it and quit and the guy i was teaming with took the truck and i headed for the airport

so to get to the point i was changing a blown tire on the freeway back home in 2009 when the highway patrol stopped behind me, he asked for my ins, id and license and came back and told me do you know that you have a felony warrant out of new mexico, to my surprise i wasnt arrested but i would like to know is will the warrant be erased after a certain time has passed or if i were to take care of the warrant will i be convicted of a felony or can covenant be held liable. any info will be appreciated.

There are people on here that could tell you exactly what's going on but they wait untill someone makes a fool of themselves before they jump in.

First off I don't know how an equipment violation can be a felony,I think the cop told you that just to scare you. Then it is my understanding that when these cops write these types of violations they have the option of putting it in your name or the companies, they put it in your name because they have a better chance of getting paid and they know that they have a better chance of the company fighting it, if it is in they're name.We all know it's about the dollar so that is why you got it.

What is it going to do to you in the future, not much if you stay out of New Mexico, but I would pay it so your not taking any chances.

Being this happened back in 04 I wouldn't put to much hope in getting anything from Covenant,it would be obvious if they where going to pay it they would have done it already.

I hope this helped,God Bless.
