my wife tryed to get a free credit check from canada free credit profile.ca.gave her info +card # and tryed to get info.didnt work so she gave up.11 months later we get a phone call from credit card fraud squad about 2-29.95 charges on card, we tell them to cancel and they say we have to call privacy protection plus at 1-800-999-0535 and savingsmart at 1-800-735-2244. she calls with me on other line and is told that they can cancel but cannot refund any of the 22x29.95 payments. i come on the line and flip out when i here they have been charging every month for a credit check plan that only an idiot would need a credit check every month plus found out they had also used the # for savingsmart that is out and out fraud and robbery....fornado gave us the confermation #s for cancelation and passed us to a superviser who told us they could not refund any money. i asked for a name and said if you want us to contact w-5 and the credit card fraud squad then we will. instantly we were told that they would refund 22x 22.95 within 3 days. on the third day it was credited to card. talk about a thief with their pants down. most people would stop there but this is out n out robbery.This COVERDELL canada corparation is running canada free credit,privacy protection plus,savingsmart and at least a dozen more companys .some of them are in charge of pention plans, education savings plans,protection for information companys and this is how they operate..i wish w-5, the rcmp,rick hanson would all check this out. do not try to get a free credit check on the internet----there is no such thing
