I made a report in the past but will continue to repost just to prevent people from making the mistake I made. When people feel they are joining a team trust plays a major role. My story is simple I told my recruiter I wanted to be a solo driver and was interested in C.R. Englands driver training. I was sent to California, while attending CDL training class I was told the only way I was going to make the money I was expecting to make was to lease.
I even remember the sign at the school saying they needed solo drivers I had no intention of going team and I made it clear. In the end I put my trust in C.R. England and went with the lease program. After completing my training I got to Utah leased my truck got my load and left. I broke down less than 200 miles away from the terminal I was leased a lemon. I continued to break down and lose money. Once my truck was up and running I went days without eating at times I even sent messages for help, but I kept my load running. Did the best I could in a non-dependable truck.
I never made a dime I lost everything I ever owned I have nothing. Im begging people please there are suckers born every day do not be the next one there are plenty of other trucking companies you can work for. Dont do Englands math you have to drive teams to make money, even then I wish you the best of luck, too bad they had to lie to me I was ready and willing to go to work. I witnessed so many good drivers broke and disgusted, any money you make the Utah terminal will try to take in repairs, seen it with my own eyes people please stay away. Its the companies dream to get loads delivered for free; cheap fuel will not help you.
