i have worked with ardie for the past 3 years when i was there he is very wrong for what he did to me and cracker barrel to. people say he is a good man this man does not up hold policy nor does cracker barrel for that matter and this is still a ongoing issue at that store still to this day store 419 you can walk up in there and ask anyone that has been working there since ardie has been there and they will tell you he is very dirty and cracker barrel to because neither one up holds policy.
#1 UPDATE Employee
Employee is confused

This employee is confused. I have worked with Arde before he went to SC (by the way you spelled his name completely wrong) and he is always on top of raises from PAR.
The thing that this employee did not state was whether or not he participated in the PAR program which is the quickest way to get raises.
If he did participate he would only get a percentage raise if he took and passed his PAR tests on time. PAR tests are where the stars on the aprons/jackets come from. PAR I is 30 days after your start date, PAR II is 3 months after passing PAR I. PAR III comes 4 months after passing PAR II and PAR IV comes 7 months after PAR III if you have 2 consecutive passing evals with a score of over 95.
Cracker Barrel is consistent with raises. The computer pretty much lets you know when an employee is eligible for a raise.
If this employee worked for CB for 5 years he should be a PAR IV and they are only eligible to get raises every 6 months until they reach the maximum pay for that PAR area. If you worked for CB for 25 years as a server and you got raises every 6 months you would have topped out and not be able to get a raise.
You can't pay servers more then $3 an hour if minimum wage is $5.15. Same goes for cooks. The pay scale depends on your area and cost of living. Cooks in GA make on average $3-$5 less then cooks in Jacksonville FL and it's only 15 mins down the road.
Arde is a good manager and would never keep a few cents from an employee. Home office has never cheated anyone out of money and if they say you got a raise you more then likely did. Check your old pay stubs against newer ones. You know you should always save those. Otherwise how can you prove you DIDN'T get a raise?
