credit mri Michelle M. Voli took about $1000 from me to repair my credit and in more then 6months nothing changed on my credit. i just started questioning the work and asking for proof but she started getting difficult and sayin, Internet

Michelle Voli from Credit MRI has been supposedly working on my credit for the past 6+ months and no change has been made on my credit. They have charged me about $1000 to date. I recently questioned her about the work on my credit report and requested proof. Michelle Voli then turned it around and said they are not responsible for the correspondents and said I am responsible for keeping the letters back from the companies.

I told her I have not received anything and how is that my responsibility when they are the ones supposedly working on my credit repair. I let her know to go ahead and take the final full payment of $225 and stop the work till I further investigate. We originally had the final balance for the last invoice set up in two payments however I let her know to take it at once and stop the work. She tgem said well there is a $50 late fee as well. Where that came from is a good question.

After arguing back and forth about the $50 late fee, she threatened me and said failure to pay it will result to legal action against me and that she will report it on my credit. O then let her know that I only authorize the $225 to be taken out of my account and if she charges the $50 late fee that I do not authorize is taken out I will take legal accruing against them. Sure enough she charged my account for $275 and not the authorized $225. I will take further legal action against them and welcome anyone who has been stolen from by Credit MRI to join me.

Credit MRI is not a legit company. They are thieves living off sterling from people. They do not do credit repair. They told me 3-9 months is the usual time frame and 8 months later no change at all on my credit. So don't fall for their you only pay for what we take off. All they remove are inquiries that are not that big of a deal. If any attorneyswould like to discuss this in further details, please contact me. And for all out there looking to fix your credit DO NOT use this company. I am a single mom and these thieves have stolen from me and my children. Shame on you Michelle Voli and Credit MRI.

My experience with Credit MRI

While I can (and do) appreciate that Mr Tom Voli has agreed to work with you to resolve your concerns and feelings of being scammed, I do feel that I should give my side of experiences with Credit MRI.

I have not had a lot of luck in the past with the so called "credit repair" companies or programs, so I was not too trusting of CreditMRI when I signed up with them. But I felt that they, like everyone else deserved a chance to prove themselves. At first, my experiences with them have not been what one would call stellar, but they definitely have proven themselves to me since.

I signed up with CreditMRI in January 2011, and by October 2011, I was seriously considering canceling their services. During that time the only "improvements" had been cleaning up of my personal information (i.e. old addresses, phone numbers, places of employment) as well as the deletion of a few inquiries as wells as the "deletion" of incorrect trade lines that had actually fallen off my reports on their own or I had resolved in court on my own (and having to dispute their bills regarding such incidents). I talked to Michelle and gave clear instructions that my primary concern was in fact the incorrect credit report entries and that my inquiries were off limits until the more important items had been corrected or deleted. True to my request, I no longer saw any activities related to my inquiries and all disputes and validation attempts were focused on the incorrect trade lines. Then in late October 2011, I got a big surprise: a letter from Transunion detailing the deletion of ALL 14 incorrect trade lines from their credit records. I was so shocked and surprised that when I read the letter while returning to my apartment, I almost walked in front of a car driving down my street!

Would I say the process has been painless and a simple matter? No I would not. It has been very trying on my patience to have to wait to see if I got replies to their disputes from the Credit Reporting Agencies or Collection Agencies or Original Creditors; even though I was told at the very beginning that their disputes could (and WOULD from time to time!) get ignored by the various companies and I would never hear a thing from them. There have also been several incidents where I bumped horns with the staff over billing practices and concerns over what they considered priority items.

Would I say that CreditMRI is a scam or a ripoff? Before October I would have considered it. From the beginning, CreditMRI has practiced full disclosure with me regarding what they were attempting to do for me. This has included emailed updates as well as access to a website where I could log in and review for myself what had been done, what was to be done, and what had been accomplished. But a lack of physical proof of success can make a person doubt. Once I got that letter in October though, that put aside any and all doubts I had. CreditMRI's efforts on just that one report alone allowed me to get my vehicle refinanced to a drastically better rate of 5.75% from 28% as well as allowed me to get a much better vehicle insurance rate of $65 a month from almost $200 a month.

Would I say they are fair on their costs and true to their claim of "pay for the work we do"? Yes I would. Michelle, Tom and the rest of their staff have always been upfront with me on concerns regarding my invoices and, with only a couple exceptions due to misunderstandings, have only charged me for things that they have been responsible for. They also kept their to their policy regarding costs by crediting me $25 when an address they previously deleted reappeared on a credit report several months later.

Do I work for CreditMRI? No, I do not. I've considered asking if they are hiring, but I have a feeling that I probably would not be a safe person to let near Collection Agencies, Creditors or Credit Bureaus. Plus I enjoy my job as a pharmacy technician for Target. And to be honest, if I move anywhere, it will be back to my home state of North Dakota, not Florida.

Tom Voli the VP of Credit MRI contacted me today and was very apologetic to what I had experienced with them. He has made a point to correct the issues. I am thankful to Tom for his kindness, understanding and customer service. Thank you Tom:-)
