So, first things first, I opened this account back in June of 2015. In December I opened up a new bank account and I made the payment for Credit One with the new account. I recieved an email telling me that my payment had not gone through because the account I made the payment with did not exist. I tried again in January closer to my payments due date, and i submitted the payment again and I got an email telling me that I didn't have the funds to cover my payment in my bank account. I had my paycheck from the first of $586 and if I didn't have enough funds to cover a $30 dollar payment, then there must be something  wrong with their system.

My account was suspended in February of 2016 and then I just stopped caring for that credit card because I had much bigger things to worry about going on than a closed credit card account. I was being kicked out of my home because my landlord filed bankruptcy and we were being forced to move. So, being homeless for about 2 months, trying to save money to move into the house I am in, my bills got behind. Once everything got settled, I contacted Credit One to see what I had to do to unsuspend my account. They told me I needed a bank validation letter for them to open my account. Uhm, no? Explain to me why I have to send someone my bank information for them to open up an account that I didn't even need to have any bank information to OPEN the account to begin with? Arguing back and forth, about sending them this letter, because I will not trust strangers in a mail car, in a post office, or even that credit card company to send my bank information to! People are sketchy, No! So after many months of debating with them, I finally got a Fax number to send the letter to. I sent in the letter on May 17th and they received it May 21st. After calling them on the 24th, they told me it took 48-72 hours to process and to call back tomorrow, I called back the next day and they told me to call back on Monday, 4 days later... I was furioud, and hung up the phone. I called them that Monday and the woman that answered the phone told me that I had to wait 7-10 business days after the letter was received for it to be processed. I got into an arguement with her about how unprofessional the company was, and that this was stupid.

I called 10 days later and they told me that they had sent out a letter telling me if my account could be opened again or not and it should be here within 10 days. I got the letter 12 days later, with them telling me that my account could not be opened because the insufficient funds that I had in my payment history and they had a zero tolerance for insufficient funds transations. So, whatever, I was done with this company. I still have a balance, so I call to make payments, and today June 18th, I called to post date a payment because I was getting paid on the 28th and just needed to make sure it got paid because things are getting behind again.

The first guy I talked to told me that they couldn't post date payments, that they could call back on the 28th of July to have my payments for July and August paid. I questioned him on the fact that whenever my payment is late, they call me 5-6 times a day asking for a payment, when I could make a payment, or if I could set up a payment arrangement to have a payment post dated. His response was "we do not post date payments, you're talking about the wrong credit card company." "We have never post dated a payment." So I hung up and called back, the next guy I spoke to, I asked him about opening my account so I could make payments because I was tired of having to call and argue with them about not paying their 9.95 fee they charge to make payments over the phone, and so he gave me the number for their Internet Inquires line....Which all 7 of their phone numbers go to the SAME automated machine, and transfer me to the SAME level of people.

The last guy I talked to before I began writting this review was being impossible, telling me if I wanted my account open that I needed to send in the bank validation letter. I told him I did and that I did not want the account open, I was just tired of dealing with having to call them to make my payment, and arguing with them that I was not going to pay the fee for making a payment over the phone because I had no choice. He told me I did have a choice, I could make the payment online free of charge! DUH! That's my point, I can't because my online access is suspended. "Then you have to call and make the payment, and on top of that payment there will be a fee on 9.95 for processing the payment." So, after arguing with him about how completely stupid this company was, I muted my phone and had him sit there for 3 minutes before he finally hung up.

I am completely astonished that these people are still in business, people come into my job all the time to pay with CreditOne credit cards, and I tell them my story to try and convince them to close the account, or stop using their cards because this is ridiculous.
