Some months ago, my wife entered into an agreement with creditrepair.com to repair her credit. They did help her out. She decided to then cancel her subscription with them. A month went by. The company (creditrepair.com) took money out of our bank account AFTER the subscription had been canceled. She contacted them again and cancelled the subscription AGAIN. Of course, the company (creditrepair.com) DID NOT REFUND the money they had WRONGFULLY TAKEN (aka "stolen") out of the bank account, but they promised that the subscription was now cancelled and they would not take the money out again.
The date has rolled around, and the company (creditrepair.com) has once again WRONGFULLY TAKEN money (aka "stolen") from the account. Texas can have some fairly severe protections against consumer fraud if the prosecutor is alerted to such practices. At the very least, creditrepair.com ought to refund two months of money they stole from the bank account. I realize that it would be difficult to get them to also refund any overdraft fees that happened directly or indirectly due to their repeated theft.
In short, creditrepair.com has committed the criminal acts of fraud (lying about having cancelled a subscription--twice) and theft (also twice).
