Review Headline
Terrible they're not even to IRS standards on paying miles driven, drive time etc.

What do you like about working at CROSSMARK?

At least it's a paycheck. Work may be sporadic but high hours when it does come in equals a bigger paycheck. At least Tech Support and some though very few individuals at Field Support "care" about the reps calling in and things. At least my RS and RM "care" about me.

What do you dislike about working at CROSSMARK?

Lack of work or very low hours and sporadic schedule. Not paid on miles driven or drive time the same way Mosaic or other merchandising firms do it or even like the trucking companies do.

Have to deduct 40 miles each way from home to first store and from last store to home. They consider it your commute time etc. When the time comes to cough up the cash and pay accurately on miles driven, drive time etc. or to pay anything the CEO cops out and would rather set these "corporate and company policies" than just pay his employees both at the HQ and in the field. That's what it all boils down to is corporate greed and not wanting to pony up the cash when the time comes to compensate their employees. Can you say Federal investigations and law suits here. Shoot a bunch of disgruntled reps and employees just sued Premium Retail in the past few years.

HQ can't get it's act together and they irritate the managers in this part of the nation and all over the 50 states etc. to where at times of the year there is no manager over the region or regional retail supervisor because they up and quit out of frustration.

What advice would you give to senior management?

Hire some good lawyers because you will need em. Pay us accurate miles based off of the same systems that other merchandising firms like Mosaic and others use as well as the trucking companies. Pay 35 cents or higher per mile starting with the first mile driven to the last mile driven and make 0 no zipola deductions. With gas through the roof every penny counts. Pay drive time accurately. Loose this Google Maps jazz on the sales track and pay roll entries drive time and miles entry thing and go back to the old system of actually trusting your employees to accurately report both of these.

Put in the drop downs back on sales track and pay roll entries for administrative and supplemental time as well and again trust your employees. It shouldn't take a phone call to FS or an email for that matter to report these and no you don't need to know the zenith details of your workers days and what they were doing during the time reported just the minor details. Work on communicating better on all levels.

Your field reps are out here going what on earth is going on and not even our regional supervisors or managers know because you over at HQ are not talking to us or them. Find good reasons to retain your employees before we have a mass exodus on our hands. No one wants to work for a tight fisted penny pincher who won't pay his or her employees accurately and based on industry standards. Stop marching to the beat of your own drum. FYI the way you are or are not paying us miles driven etc. is in direct violation of State labor laws and Federal laws. It even violates IRS Code.

Miami University out of Ohio state has the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/T3DRNX3 for a survey dealing with the reasons why so many Crossmark employees are quiting and just leaving the company. I say the record speaks for itself or why are all these people quiting? No one wants to work for an a*****e or a bunch that acts like them who treat their employees like s**t. Face the facts here Crossmark the s**t is hitting the fan big time and your days in court are coming. When you break the labor and ethics laws and even more in regards to the sexual harrassments, racial stuff etc. it will get noticed and you will face the consequences by law in the court of law. So those of you like myself who have left the company please click that link and take the survey. Personally speaking I still owe some cans of whoop a*s to the last two so called hot heads cough supervisors I spoke with. How dare you question me or my integrity with the company or my work schedule.

Crossmark insider information. They're being sued by Labor Departments in all 50 States and the Feds as well. This proves it.

See I told you they're doing illegal activities and treat their employees like crap. If this was not the case then why would attorneys be contacting myself and other associates at the corporate offices and in the field? Hmm seems to me that the prosecution is trying to build a case against these weasels and I hope they win and by win I don't mean Crossmark. We the employees deserve much better than what we are getting. Be sure your sins will find you out you den of thieves.

Hello:

From time to time, we become aware that attorneys/lawyers who are not affiliated with CROSSMARK attempt to contact (by telephone, letter,
or e-mail) and communicate with CROSSMARK associates about certain legal issues pertaining to the company.  Fortunately, many of the associates who receive these unsolicited calls and e-mails bring them to our attention.

If you receive a telephone call from an attorney/lawyer whom you have never met and/or do not know, you do not have to speak with the attorney/lawyer.

If you receive a letter or an e-mail from an attorney/lawyer whom you have never met and/or do not know, you do not have to respond to the
e-mail.

If a CROSSMARK lawyer contacts you, she or he will identify herself or himself as working for CROSSMARK or with the CROSSMARK Legal Department.  If you receive a telephone call, a letter or an e-mail from an attorney/lawyer whom you have never met, you should notify your supervisor/manager of the communication, and you  should feel free to contact CROSSMARKs Employee Relations Department (469-814-1871) or our Legal Department (469-814-1357) if you wish.

If you have any questions about this e-mail, please call the departments identified above.  Thank you.

Crossmark Looses case to Idaho Department of Labor.

AUTHOR: Dave - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, June 09, 2011

A former employee and friend of mine just won his case this morning against Crossmark regarding their trying to deny his unemployment insurance claim based off of his unethical and illegal firing. He was let go due to improper training on how to report administrative and suplemental time on sales track. They called me and gave me the proper training but why didn't they call him. Turns out he had used a few choice words regarding one of our inept and confused as a headless chicken managers or a lame duck excuse for one on a reset we had been hired to help on at an area Walmart near here and it was under investigation. He was told not to report any training time. He was not however told that he could not record up to a half hour to an hour each day 7 days a week checking his schedule and seeing if any stores were being assigned, communicating with HQ via our internal email system which is paid time FYI and etc. etc. etc. He was not made aware by anyone at Crossmark that in order to report said time you must email Field Support. What it boils down to is they do not trust their employees so they removed the drop downs in sales track and payroll entries to report the admin time and supplemental time and now we must go through the "gatekeepers" due to a few bad apples spoiling it for the entire bunch. He was unethically and in my opinion illegally fired. But here is where it gets good. Crossmark was required per State and Federal law to show up for the hearing today at 10AM mountain standard time 9AM Pacific which would have been 11AM sharp central time. They failed to do so so their challenge to this case has been dismissed and we won. Ha ha we took em to court and we won but my fight is not over yet and I still remain an unnamed anonymous insider who still works here but I'm just pining for info to nail them on in the courts and trust me it's not that hard. They're so in violation of ethics, racial, sexual harassment, religious etc. rules it's not funny. It violates all 50 state right to work rules and the labor laws, the federal laws etc. When the crap hits the fan Crossmark you are going down and you will pay when the times comes to cough up the cash. Your days are numbered mark my words. We're already building a case against you and Idaho has got your number.

I quite like my job with them, I'm an Event Specialist (sample person) so I stay in one store, and get an even, constant paycheck.  No travel time required, just a normal 6 hour shift.  Maybe you should switch positions so that doesn't happen?
