When I booked our Thanksgiving 2013 cruise through Cruises Only, we were eligible for a $225 onboard spending reimbursement. You have to file the online form and submit your cruise folio after you return within a 60 day window and their form says "Once your information has been received and verified, we will credit your reimbursement amount to the credit card originally used for purchase approximately 4 to 6 weeks from the date on which your information was submitted." I submitted the online form on December 2, 2013, and emailed the folio to them on December 3, 2013. I called to check on the status of my refund on December 17, 2013 and was told that they did receive my online form and folio. She told me to call back in 4 weeks if I have not received my refund. I called again on January 3, 2014 and was told to wait another two weeks and that it will be refunded directly to my cc. I called again on January 14, 2014 (which is 6 weeks from date of submission) and was given a song and dance about how they mean 4 to 6 business weeks, not 4 to 6 calendar weeks (is there a difference?) and that it will be another 5 to 7 business days before I might receive my refund. Naturally, I got upset and felt that they are deliberately holding onto my refund and not honoring their own paperwork (which I have to abide by). I went on their website and they claim to have 24/7 service and happiness guarantee (which they claim they will give you $100 towards a future cruise if you are not happy with their service). But, interestingly enough, there is no way to contact them, other than the 1800 phone #. There is no way to send them an email and there is no way to contact customer service. I feel it is unfair of them to not honor their paperwork and to deliberately withold my refund, as it has been the full six weeks now since my paperwork was all submitted on December 3, 2013.
