I warn everyone of this place! I met with the manager/sales guy Kevin of this location. I was refered to them by a friend. In the past I had previously worked with this company to get in shape and I never saw a difference. My friend said that this guy is awesome and will set me up with the right guys..little did him and I know. I have my intro session with Kevin and everything was great. I used to be a professional horse rider/jumper, so I have always had a heavy gym schedule and worked out with the best trainers. When asking kevin after our intro session was done and we were sitting down going over prices and what plan would best fit me, this is what he had told me..."I will have you train with Nick who is the best (he trains with a gasnmask? yep that definitely who I want to train me.) or Cody who is his cousin and is learning Nick's ways." My next question that I asked him was the fact that my schedule changes a lot and where I want to train with true professionals and not some trainer that has taken a six week course and is considered a professional personal trainer, he continued to tell me that "they always have times available to fit my needs". Then without anything else being said Kevin then told me if you want to do five days a week it will $500 a month and that he will himself give me free sessions(which in the first place he should not have been training period something to do with company policy).
Well for the next few weeks Kevin and I worked together and this time I saw a difference then before. everything was going good and I was having fun working out with him. He really understood my needs because he is a professional weight lifter so he knows how far to push you and when to stop. Towards the end of our second week of working out he tells me he is being transfered to the Milford location. I was fine with this and I went home to log into my account to start making sessions with Nick and Cody. Well my schedule that week and the week that followed I need early morning session. Well guess what? Cody and Nick only work night schedules. How interesting is that right? So angry out of my mind I called the owner Omar and told him that I wanted to Cancel my session and my contract. He did everything in his power to try and keep me and even told me that I haven't really given them a try since I only trained with Luis...interesting because I only trained with Kevin who was logging me in to train with Luis. Well I explained this to Omar he was definitely taken by suprise and you could tell in his voice that he was in the dog house with this one. Omar said he needed the weekend to figure out what we were going to do. Omar called me on Monday and said that he was not going to refund me my money and was going to continue to charge my card. Well the kicker is that same night he deleted my session that I had for this week. My question is why would he delete my sessions and continue to charge my card if you are not going to refund me and be understanding that I am not happy with his establishment. I have already turned away a few friends who were going to work with them and I will continue to make sure that my friends nor family will do so. Custom Built is a true rip off.
