My company was contacted by these people to escort a piece of oversized machinery from New Jersey to Michigan, we were supposed to receive payment at completion of the run upon invoicing, I sent them the agreement we use listing fees etc, they signed and returned back to me, so they had a clear understanding of what was expected as far as payment terms and such.

 

Invoiced to job and did not receive payment as was expected by me, called and got the whole check is in the mail thing, no check was received within a week, called again, now the check is going out on Monday, how is a check that was in the mail last week going in the mail on Monday you might ask?   It was never sent as I was told.

 

Reinvoiced the now 60 almost 90 day old invoices with the late fees specified on my paperwork they signed, faxed it over with a letter stating that they had 10 days to resolve the matter before if get handed over to collections, no response.  I followed up with several phone calls that went unanswered or returned.

 

Finally reached someone again, well after the 10 days I had given them I might ad, they told me that they couldn't pay until Friday, fine with me as long as I am paid.

 

Friday morning comes and I call the guy as he instructed me, and he is so conveniently in a "meeting" gave the secretary a message and faxed over a credit card authorization to be signed and returned, I did not receive this back within a few hours, called again, now he has left the building. How nice!!  Kept calling back until I was able to get the secretary to transfer me to someone in charge that I could speak with, and not a voicemail. Spoke with the owner of the company that told me he would personally look into it, which he did, I received a call back from him stating my paperwork was getting sent back momentarily, I did receive back in about a half hour

 

However they would not authorize any of the late fees they had agreed upon when signing my intitial paperwork. At least I got paid on the invoice I guess, but this was not was agreed to.

Still haven't received late fees

Spoke to the owner of this company upon filing my Ripoffreport.com post, he was upset about the post, he wanted to pay my late fees and have me file a rebuttal or remove the post, I told him I would do so when he paid the late fees, I faxed over a credit card authorization form I use 3 times with no response.
