Daniel Dupree has recently been in Manitou Springs, co. He admts beng "on the run" with his 4 year old child he claims is his daughter. He claims to do so in order to protect the child from her mother.This child is seen performing for tips with guitar or violin at all hours until very late at night. There is something off about this man and his relationship with the child. They were living near me and my 4 year old. The two became fast friends and she was welcome in my home. It became routine that he would drop her off for a few hours each day. The last time they were over he told me that he had found someone to do a face peircing o his daughter HIS FOUR YEAR old!! I didnt hold back my opinion and by the next morning the two had moved out. I have seen them at the grocery store one time since I worry constantly for her as I found him to exhibit grifting and exploitive behaviors. I just found this page through a random Google search. I am Carters mother. Please contact me in regards to the whereabouts of my daughter. I know some time has passed, but I've been jumping through legal hoops to get sole custody. I now have sole custody of my Carterbear and don't have a clue where to look for her. I need your help.
The man you met was not the man I loved enough to have an amazing little girl with. Something happened to him, I don't know what, but he is not well and he has my baby girl. I am afraid for her safety, her well being, her health and her innocence.

The above report concerning Daniel Dupree is in total keeping with how he works. His daughter is very bright and personable. Dupree would often use her to win over confidance of intended con victims. While in New Orleans Dupree befriended many adult street performers so that is probably what sent him in the direction of exploiting his 4 year old. Dupree is basically lazy and unable to hold a job for any legnth of time with out being fired. Rumor has it that many of his firings were theft related. DO NOT TRUST A WORD THIS MAN SPEAKS. A pathological liar with sociopathic tendancies, although he gives the impression that he is a caring and loving father, he would place his daughter in jepordy if it serves his purpose.
