The initial project started on May 31st 2012 and was between myself and a company called Wagento. Wagento is a company that Darren LeDoux hired to do magento website work for his site elitetacticalcomponents.com and Wagento is located at 7601 Wayzata Blvd. #100 Saint Louis Park MN 55426 with a direct line 612-594-7699. My contact there was Brent Peterson and his direct number is 612-594-76796 and his mobile is 952-545-2020. Direct communication between myself and Wagento continued until initial project was complete on July 13th and on July 20th wagento decided to completely step out of the project and left me to deal directly with Darren LeDoux of elite tactical components which is a choice they made NOT Me. This is when the problems started. The Darren LeDoux then asks for an additional set of changes and I replied it would be a few additional hours of course keep in mind I have only provided a ESTIMATE this was never a fixed price or bid contract and the client's response was I need to work for free or they will black mail me and tarnish my business in every way shape and form and harass me unless I do. Which they have since made good on including abogus claim with the state of Connecticut Consumer Protection and a bogus claim with the BBB.org. The Client has admitted to using the software and continuing to use the work I provided and in the same sentence says they do not want to pay for it. Darren LeDoux is trying to steal my time and work and not pay for it. They say they will use the work and have another developer do the additional tasks they did not want to pay me for and then they want a refund for the work they are using and paid me to do. Darren LeDoux is trying to scam me and they are thief's. Darren LeDoux even admits to having similar issues with past developers it's no wonder why as other developers likely have been ripped off by this same company elite tactical they same way they are ripping me off. They also tried to black mail me and leave false and negative reviews about me on the internet. Please note that Darren LeDoux of elitetacticalcomponents.com as a scammer. I can also provide a digital copy of all code and work done for this client and demo the work provided to Darren LeDoux. Im sure you could also see it in use on their own server's as they have admitted to using it and still are. Please help me clear my name and advise me on any steps I can take to stop the harassment by Darren LeDoux and his company and/or deal with these false accusations that doesn't include me refunding them for my time already spent or work already provided that they are using.

I bought Scotts Extention

AUTHOR: Liveuk - (United Kingdom)

POSTED: Friday, November 02, 2012

I bought Scotts collection extension for Magento

They are unconventional but do work as described

They need the Developer to know Magento and with a name like Wagento I am thinking these people are saying they know Magento.

So it's simple if you have a good understanding of Magento Scotts files work

If not they do not as you will not be able to just plug and use them.

Scott Bolasevich is posting slanderous information regarding Elite Tactical Components

AUTHOR: Darren LeDoux - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, August 27, 2012

Scott Bolasevich claims to be a developer of extensions for a web shopping cart called Magento. He operates under a company called Intersec Solution LLC. The address for this business is listed as 199 Beacon Street, Newington,  CT 0611
and the phone number he provided is 860-281-5469. The address is residential so the assumption is that he is a freelance developer that works from his home. He also uses a gmail account for email since he must not have a business email. He
sells his extension from various websites and the one he directed Elite Tactical Components to was http://www.commerceextensions.com/magento-support.html.

Elite Tactical Components hired Wagento, a development group to do some work on our website. They referred us to Scott Bolasevich specifically for his Import/Export Extension. Initially a Wagento team member contacted Scott Bolasevich to see if his extension would work for what we needed it to do. The Wagento developer provided some info to Scott Bolasevich so he could quote how much the extension and installation would cost. After he quoted $100 for the extension and 6 to 8 hours of time at $50/hr, Elite Tactical Components sent Scott Bolasevich an email to discuss the exact parameters we needed and
what we needed it to do. Email is below.

Hi Scott

We were referred to you by Jesse at Wagento to do the module and custom extension for our store. Jessie said you could have this done by the end of this week? Can you please contact Darren at 602.758.4258 to discuss this project?

His response is below:

hmm yes i did talk to jesse he said you would be purchasing the software and i was going to start on it end of the week not sure if it will be complete by then and im super busy i really dont have the extra time to chat on the phone unless you want to block time for the call as well

scott

As you can see he did not have time to discuss his customer's needs and since he was too busy he wanted to charge us in advance just to talk to his customer so his customer could make sure that his extension and work would fit his customer's needs. Therefore, Scott Bolasevich claims that he only dealt with Wagento, which is false. Elite Tactical Components
tried to discuss this with him and he declined, wanting us to pay him to talk.

Elite Tactical Components responded to Scott Bolasevich below:

I do understand that you are busy, however am weary having you complete this without having any discussion on our store and what we need accomplished. Did Jesse fill you in on exactly what needs to be done and give you all of our information? I am fine setting up a time to discuss.

Please let me know.

He further continued to push Elite Tactical Components back to Wagento, appearing to not want to discuss anything with his customer. His response below:

well to be dead honest this is very confusing for me and i really dont know what to say im in the middle of this discussion now between yourself and jesse he's emailing me some stuff your saying other stuff and some how im suppose to do something here..

maybe you should regroup with him.. have it all outlined again and then send it all back to me directly ill review it all again.. provide a final estimate and we can go from there.. i dont want to waste your time and certainly not mine

scott

(There are several more emails in which Scott Bolasevich was in direct communication with Elite Tactical Components which will be included below.) The point is that Scott Bolsavich's claim that he only dealt with Wagento is false. Elite Tactical Components reached out on several occasions and Scott Bolasevich did not want to discuss. In addition, Elite Tactical
Components paid Scott Bolasevich $300 in advance in order for him to start the work. That payment is documented in emails which further proves that Wagento only first communicated with him to qualify his extension. Wagento did not pay
this person for the extension or the hours. During the period of Scott Bolasevich working on this extension, there were a few emails exchanged regarding some specific issues which needed to be addressed. On July 6, 2012 Elite Tactical Components sent an email to a Wagento developer regarding the weights of products not importing correctly. Below is the portion of the email which contains Scott Bolasevich's response:

In looking through some of the RSR products, we noticed a couple issues:

1.) The weights seem to be feeding incorrectly. (Can we double check this or have Scott check to make sure it is mapped correctly?)

Scott Said:

ok sure i can do a calculation on that.. little extra work but no biggie

The second issue was regarding duplicate products being created. Below is the email with Scott Bolasevich's response:

2.) The feed has created all the products again instead of updating the ones we already had in there.

(Now we have duplicates for everything that was previously created. I just want to make sure that it is set up so it will now just update the price and quantity of items already in there, and then only create new items that  are not found in the database. I would assume that the old existing items can be deleted since it appears that the new feed is not updating those?)

Scott Said

that doesnt make any sense.... im not even sure what that means.. it matches by sku so if sku exists it updates and if not it imports as new.. so how in the world its getting duplicated i really couldnt say.. if indeed your getting duplicate skus this would be another problem with the install and one im not sure how to fix..

never seen that in 4yrs before

As you can see, there was various communication during the project and Scott Bolasevich was made aware of any issues which were encountered during his work.

In a follow up email Elite Tactical Components discussed certain categories of products which would need to be excluded. Scott Bolasevich responded below:

ok i can do the filtering too of the categories.. but if it should be around 12,140.. im not sure how your going to get to that if your already at 20,304 doesnt make much sense to me

scott

What the emails show is that Scott Bolasevich was in contact with Elite Tactical Components through the project. (What these emails will also show is that there were no extra issues at the end when Scott Bolasevich claims Elite tactical Components requested more work.) After the above email Scott Bolasevich sent the following email:

FYI

http://www.commerceextensions.com/magento-support-1-hour-block.html

for 4hrs/blocks

scott

Unsure as to what this meant, Elite Tactical Components sent Scott Bolasevich an email regarding it:

Scott,

Jesse at Wagento informed me that you need us to pay for more time. (Apparently that's what your FYI meant??? It did not state that you had used up the 4 hours of prepaid time.

How many hours do you need to complete this?

Also, please disregard figuring out the categories. I do not need you to spend time on that as we can categorize them and that data does not change after that one time, so I don't need you to spend time doing that.

His response below:

ok i have almost 4hrs outstanding as of now.. i really dont see much time left here.. less then a hour of work at this point

So, his way of communicating to his customer is to send an FYI and a link to just pay him. No explanation as what he has done, no explanation as to what he has left to do.

Elite Tactical Components sent a follow up email to clarify:

So to clarify:

You have used up the prepaid 4 hours that was purchased on June 19th.

You have spent an additional 4 hours also?

And you need another hour?

His response:

yes and possibly another hour.. if its only another 15-20min or something ill just call it the 4.. if it turns into another hour and 30mins.. then its a different story.. basically the 4 should cover it in a normal situation but this projects been all but normal so im kinda padding that

scott

Elite Tactical Components paid Scott Bolasevich another $200 on July 13, 2012. This is 24 days after the initial payment of $300 and the project is still not completed. On July 6, 2012 Scott Bolasevich emailed:

ok ive got all the changes in it should be mapping all to correct places.. its converting the weight from ounces to pounds.. and the sku is being trimmed... it is also ignoring the categories 1,2,3,5 and 7 and maybe you should do a little testing to make sure all is correct.. let me know and then i can setup automated ftp and cron job as last step

scott

On July 23, 2012 Elite Tactical Components emailed Scott Bolasevich regarding an update for the extension:

Hi Scott,

Can you give us an update as to where we are on the RSR feed that you created for us? You said there was likely a configuration problem on simplehelix end and their response was:

Hello,

Here is a snippet of the cron log that shows the
cron job is running successfully.

root@gnax-ded335 [/var/log]# cat cron | grep cron-rsr-profile.php

If the script is not importing the items you've specified you may want to speak with the developer of the script. If you need further assistance from us please let us know.

Can you please give us an update and let us know what else needs to be done.

Scott Bolasevich responded below:

It's been done for weeks

Elite Tactical Components then responded with an issue regarding the weights not feeding correct values. (Remember this was discussed previously and Scott said it was done.) His response to the issue:

ahh i was unaware the conversion is there.. maybe block another hour then we can debug that conversion.. i tested it and jesse confirmed it was working so what changed or why theres a issue im unsure

Once again, Scott Bolasevich is requesting that Elite Tactical Components pay him more money to look at an issue which he said he completed.

Just to reiterate what was outlined previously.

Initial email for weights:

In looking through some of the RSR products, we noticed a couple issues

1.) The weights seem to be feeding incorrectly. (Can we double check this or have Scott check to make sure it is mapped correctly?)

Scott Said

ok sure i can do a calculation on that.. little extra work but no biggie

Second email regarding weights:

ok ive got all the changes in it should be mapping all to correct places.. its converting the weight from ounces to pounds.. and the sku is being trimmed... it is also ignoring the categories 1,2,3,5 and 7 and maybe you should do a little testing to make sure all is correct.. let me know and then i can setup automated ftp and cron job as last step

Now he wants Elite Tactical Components to pay him more money to look into why his initial work doesn't work. In addition, the extension was not working automatically. It was stopping on item 2. Therefore it wasn't even doing what is was supposed to do.

When Elite Tactical Components brought all of this to his attention, his response was:

Let me know if you want to block

More time or just find another developer

Scott

The customer, Elite Tactical Components, went to the seller, Scott Bolasevich, and informed him that his extension and work was not doing what he claimed it will do. Scott Bolasevich basically told his customer that he would do nothing unless he was paid more to look at it.

Elite Tactical Components filed a claim with Paypal to dispute the payments to Scott Bolasevich. Paypal declined the claim since it involves "software". Left with no alternatives, Elite Tactical Components filed a claim with the BBB of Connecticut. Upon learning of the claim, Scott Bolasevich went on an industry forum and posted slanderous remarks toward Elite Tactical Components. In addition Scott Bolasevich had a friend, Chelsa Caruso,  post slanderous statements on our company Facebook page stating: "This is the worst company ever. They have poor customer service." Within an hour Chelsa
Caruso also posted: "F--K You" on our company Facebook page. Elite tactical Components sent Scott Bolasevich an email regarding the slanderous statements:

Scott,

We tried to rectify a problem with you and your resolution was to charge us more to fix something you said was completed or told us to find another developer.

I have posted reviews and filed a complaint with the BBB and I have not hidden under someone's identity. I posted those reviews under our company, and filed the complaint under our company. I have included all the facts in those reviews and the complaint.

If there is something in there that is not factual, then let me know.

Now, what you are doing by having a friend, Chelsa Caruso, post slanderous info on our Facebook page is slander. She is not nor ever was a customer of ours.

The same for the post on Calguns. If you want to drag innocent people into slandering our company, I guess that is their mistake for wanting to break the law.

All of these will be reported, and investigated.

His response was:

I don't know what your talking about but your the one leaving slanderous comments about me but I'll keep this email as well with more proof about your activities you'll be hearing from my lawyer if this continues

Scott

So, when he was confronted with the issue he denied having any involvement and also goes as far as to accuse Elite Tactical Components of doing what he has done. Elite Tactical Components sent this response:

Perfect. I too have all the documentation.
I will continue to report this to the authorities in Connecticut.

But Scott Bolasevich wasn't done yet. All of a sudden his tone changed and he sent the following email:

ok but in a last attempt here to avoid that long road. is there anything we can do to some sort of settlement?

Before Elite tactical Components could even respond Scott Bolasevich sent another email:

did you get my last email i just tried to call you.. i just looked over everything again i don't think this is worth it to my business or yours to really pursue this..

what do you think needs to happen to rectify any issues and close this matter in full? im sure you can agree if we can come to an agreement together today this would be best
for all.

Scott

Four more emails exchanged and in the next email Scott Bolasevich admits to posting the slanderous statements on the forum:

ok so what do you want to do resolve this? or how can we resolve this? i understand your point and the biggest issue here for me was that wagento initially hired me to do the work.. they didn't pass along the additional requests that Tiffany sent a week or so ago and even in my email i had said that was the first i heard of them so that is why i said additional time would be needed and i would also address the bugs then but really at the end of the day as i told wagento from the beginning i don't do fixed price work or fixed bid projects so even if there are bugs.. in actuality those bugs would require additional time to fix.. or another way of looking at it is i build it to do something and it almost does it but will take a little more additional time to make it work a 100%.. either way no matter how
you slice or dice it my time is billable by the hour. So if i spend 7 hrs working on it and it works 95% .. then it maybe takes me another 2 more hours to work out the kinks.. its still 9hrs billable.. just because its a "bug" doesn't mean that im going to fix bugs for free..this is programming there is always bugs... and its my time either way.. and in a service industry anyone will do this if they are charging by the hour... so that's why i felt you were backing me into a corner either forcing me to do additional free work or refund for time already spent both of which are 100% completely unfair to me in my eyes as i worked hard already and delievered work its not like i took the money
and left you nothing i think we can both agree i did do some work just not a 100% and to be honest i was very upset to be put in this position and i lashed out by leaving that 1 post on calguns
which was wrong of me and has sense been removed/deleted. So with that said what can we do to resolve this and go our separate ways with out a long legal battle as i don't have a in house attorney like you but i do have one in the family and it wont cost me much but still not something i would want to even do and looking at this overall picture and its just not worth it.. its not worth it to leave reviews about each other clearly your running a solid business and
ive been doing the same and some how this got out of control and to this point and now i regret it myself.. im all ears

scott

Elite Tactical Components also replied to the slanderous posts from Chelsa Caruso, and told her that she was not a customer of Elite Tactical Components and she should not post slanderous comments on behalf of a friend. Included was the
Connecticut Defamation Statute:

3.11-5 Slander Per Se
Revised to January 1, 2008

The plaintiff in this case is seeking to recover damages for slander. Slander is oral defamation of character. Slander is the speaking of defamatory words which injure the reputation of the person defamed or which deter people from associating with or dealing with the
person defamed.

In most cases, a plaintiff must prove actual injury to (his/her) reputation in order to recover in an action for slander. Actual injury must be proven unless the slander occurred in one of the categories called slander per se. If a statement is slanderous per se, a person
is entitled to recover for general damages to (his/her) reputation without having to prove that actual damage was caused by the statements. This is because the law conclusively presumes that these statements cause injury to a person's reputation.

In this case, the plaintiff claims that <insert allegations>.

If you find that the plaintiff has proven, by a preponderance of the evidence, that the defendant made the statement to a third person, which identified the plaintiff, such that it would be reasonably understood that it was about the plaintiff, then this would be slander per se because <insert as appropriate:

The statement falsely charges someone with having committed a crime that involves moral turpitude or for which an infamous penalty is
attached.

The statement falsely charges someone with having a loathsome or contagious disease.

The statement falsely charges someone with incompetence or dishonesty in office.

The statement falsely charges a professional person with general incompetence.

The statement falsely charges a person with conduct or characteristics that would adversely affect (him/her) in (his/her) trade or
business.

The post was immediately removed.

In the end Elite Tactical Components proposed that he refund $400 since the extension does not work at all and Elite Tactical Components would leave the $100 for the supposed extension that is there somewhere. Scott Bolasevich never
responded. Again with no other choice, Elite Tactical Components filed a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency in Connecticut. Upon learning of that complaint, Scott Bolasevich filed this report on Ripoff. Ironically, Scott Bolasevich has not been ripped off. Scott Bolasevich is the seller and Elite Tactical Components is the consumer who was ripped off.

Elite Tactical Components tried on three occasions to resolve this with Scott Bolasevich and he has refused all three. The most recent offer was that Scott Bolasevich refund Elite tactical Components $300 but he once again declined and threatened to post more false statements:

Ive also printed all emails all screenshots and all documentation I've sent it all to Connecticut state department of consumer protection and also with arizona consumer protection. I've notified FTC trade about your business with all information and also with BBB and I am processing more I will not be bullied or harasses or black mailed by you never!!!! Please respond I am spending the rest of my week documenting everything I am telling everyone I'll make a Facebook just to tell the world about how you treat someone. Everyone can see what a bully you are and how you treat people I hope that there are thousands of posts from you the more the better ill do 2 posts to everyone one you do maybe 3 or 4 I'll never stop defending myself or telling my side of the story I will not sit back while you slander and accuse me of false accusations and fraud me and my work. Online videos will be o. YouTube and Facebook and everything and any
where I'll do this every day for ever!

Within 2 hours Scott Bolasevich sent 16 emails to Elite Tactical Components and there was no response to him. He just kept randomly sending repeating emails with the same messages. He was finally told to stop the emailing immediately.

The facts of this issue are quite clear. Elite Tactical Components can provide the proof behind the facts which have been
filed with the BBB and the Consumer Protection Agency of Connecticut. The facts have been shown here as well. Elite Tactical Components paid this person $500 for an extension and services and that extension does not work, nor can it even
be used. Other developers have looked at it and said that they would not recommend getting it to work because it does not appear to be something that will last and will most likely have more issues down the road. So Elite Eactical Components has paid $500 and received nothing. Scott Bolasevich uses the term Blackmail as if Elite Tactical Components has threatened him. Elite tactical Components has done nothing of the sort and Scott Bolasevich can not prove otherwise. Elite Tactical Components has filed claims with agencies that have been established for the purpose of helping consumers who have been
wronged. Scott Bolasevich doesn't like that these claims have been filed and he is desperately trying to reverse the issue which doesn't work when you are lying and slandering your customer.
