I called Data Doctors from their main website where it advertises that if they do not fix your computer there is no charge "We'll Fix It or It's Free!* We get your Slow, Crashing Computer Restored, Cleaned and Running like New!"     Well that's exactly why I called them. I explained to them over the phone that every time I try to boot my computer it freezes up, and I can only boot it in safe mode. That CD hard drive didn't seem to be working correctly and I thought it just might be a driver, but Windows would also not allow me to update it.

They charge $139.00 just to come to your home, and then basically did nothing more then what I had already done myself. To start with they don't even actually listen to you on the phone. Their obviously more concerned with getting your credit card number before they even get to your house. I had already called two other computer repair company's and explained to all three EXACTLY what my computer was doing AND what I had already done to try and repair it myself. The technician walked in with nothing more then a cell phone in his hand.  The first thing out of his mouth was I hope this is not a hardware problem. Which confused me at first, after all if it was a hardware problem was he trying to tell me at that point he can't fix it?   Prior to his arrival I had written out for him the error codes I was getting on my computer. He did the same system test I did to get that same information, (as if I was an idiot? I copied the error codes verbatim! Not information you can exactly make up!)  Then after the same computer test that I had already done, his answer to me was "Call Dell!"  The best part was... that within a few hours I actually figured out for my self what the error codes were telling me, that my hard drive was bad. Yes I called Dell, so I could order a new hard drive. I was hoping Data doctors could save me some time when I need my computer for my home business. All they did was waste it! It would have been nice if he even bother to tell me it was my hard drive that was creating the problem, or maybe he didn’t even know that much! This is a computer technician? HaHaHaHa!

The following day I called them back to ask for a supervisor explaining of how unhappy I was with their lack of service. The girl told me she would have someone call me back. Okay fine! The following day i recieved a message from Rachel Meyer at 480-921-2444 (option3) which is in Tempe, Arizona, Their main office. I called back twice after that to try and reach her. When i got on the phone it struck me really funny that altho my original service call was a local New Jersey number I was calling back Arizona speaking to the same person I spoke to with the initial service call. Who attempted over and over again to tell me what I said to her on the initial call. (I just love when people don't bother to listen to you and then tell you what they THINK you said!)  especially when i had to repeat myself three times in less then 15 minutes to other computer repair company's I had just previously called.

I statred looking around on the internet about this company. It turn's out their a franchise. Their headquarters is in

Data Doctors of Tempe, AZ

725 S Rural Rd, Suite 107,TempeAZ 85281

On their main page (http://www.datadoctors.com/locations/101-Tempe-Computer-Repair-and-Data-Recovery/

They claim to be Members of the Central Arizona Better Business Bureau, Members of the Tempe Chamber of Commerce.

Well sorry but the BBB Web site for Arizona doesn't quite agree. I Guess this company thinks False advertising is no big deal. What ever you do please don't call this company unless you have money to burn and time to waste waiting around for a technician who has no clue what computer repair even entails and is going to be late for his appointment anyway. In my opinion I would have had more fun calling a 5 year old to repair my computer and he probably would have known more then this technician
