Hello as to David Newman  rebuttal. there is proof that i have seen where he signed a contract to build  a home . in Rhode Island and took half the money  $7500.  [ the other party repayed his share also prrof of that } and never returned as the owners who wanted to have their house built will show proof as to Mr. David Newman signed a contract. . i could get ahold of this contact as to the proof. also Dave Did a roof job in Framingham mass. also useing this former contractors contact at a roofing supply company to do the job. and he did not pull a permit as i saw proof as to the reciept. and their were also pictures of Dave Newman receiving money at a restraunt in Maine  as to half the deposit on a house build. i could get in touch  with this contact to show proof.  as stated proof could be shown if he Dave wants to dipute this matter. the contact would come forward if nessesary . To anyone who ever found this and I am working on having this removed, notice the author is anonomus? There is our first problem, so if you have some in your life or past that want to hurt you, this is all they have to do.

I have not taken money from any individual and I we rarely do roofing work, as it requires a roofing license. I was asked to do a roof a few months ago for a friends sister, bid the job but had to decline the job as my cousin who has a license moved to Maine and a subcontractor we found did not have his license and could not pull the permit. No money changed hands and we pointed them in the best direction. We operated ethically.

I have a good idea who might have posted this vicious attack, a contractor who I know and has had legal trouble in ME, RI and I believe in FL. An unethical person with a seedy past. This person posted this, for he is rooted through out ripoff report and that is how he knows how to use it. I do not even want to mention his name for being tied to it is like throwing yourself into a fire.

How do you combat this? On the web I found some information about ripoff report please do your own investigation. I am working with them to remove this violation and deformation of character, understanding they did not post it, however prior to anyone filing a report, one would assume dudiligence would be the norm. 

Such is the way of the web, in a very very sad way...

I hope people at Ripoff Report will do the right thing and remove this bogus information. Working so hard in my life to develop business, secure a BS and MA, this is just absolutely wrong.
