My Son is at Ft.Sam Houston in San Antonio, Tx going through AIT training. He was to graduate the middle of May but is being held over. I had made hotel reservations for 3 days.
When I called to cancel with Days Inn I was informed that each hotel is individually owned and operated and I had to call that hotel directly. I did this and when I asked if I could get a credit towards a future stay the Manager asked when I would be using it. I stated I did not know that it could be as long as 3 months time. He gave me a very hard time and would not give me a credit towards a future stay. I stated that I would eat this one but would never stay at any Days Inn again. I feel that the Manager used unfair business practices.
I was not asking for a refund just a credit towards a future stay. If I didn't use the credit in the time alloted I would them forfeit and that would be on me.
