Daytona Wrecker Service GROSSLY overcharged and disrespected by tow service Daytona Beach, Florida

My cousin and myself wanted to get a slice of pizza from a shop on Seabreaze blvd and had parked across the street. We didnt notice the taxi loading markings and went in to eat for less than 15 minutes. When we came out our cars were gone. Investigation determined that a nearby parking attendant had reported us to the towing company for a cash reward. Upon getting their number we called and ran onto a snotty retard employee that wanted us to apologize to them for having our cars towed. My cousin debated with her while trying to get our cars back the same night. The snotty retard employee didnt like the idea of us getting our vehicles back immediatly and hung up on her. The retard then refused to answer the phone until we reapeatedly called her about 20 times. Upon answering she screamed and yelled in a ballistic temper tantrum and hung up on us again. I made sure she was aware that there was a laptop with DOD security certificaits in my trunk and that she would be finding a way to get me access to it immediatly after we called her back about 12 more times. This caused her to be more combative about releasing my car to me. I suspect she may have wanted to keep the car long enough to take the laptop so I had to threaten her with FBI involvement to get her to all of the sudden want to cooperate. In fear of federal charges she gave us the adress.

We paid a cab to take us there and arrived at about 2:00 AM. The neighborhood wasnt so nice and the place wasnt open for pickups. My cousin called the retarded employee back who laughed and said "oh you need cash in exact change too, you better go find an ATM" and hung up right after telling us a driver could take the cashe and release it to us if we happened to see one.

We had to walk about 1/2 mile to a stripper club to get cash, then walk back through the bad neighborhood with cash. After waiting about another 1/2 hour with cash on our persons in a bad neighborhood we spotted a driver leaving the closed yard. My cousin tried to stop him but he just kept on driving. I stepped out in front of the boy and gave him a direct order to stop immediatly. He stopped and flew into a rage about being disrespected. I told both emploees in the truck that they would be cooperting with the recovery of the laptop in the trunk whick brought on challenges to fight me and curse words. They both demanded to be called "sir", which I translated as the C word and "b***h". They didnt like that for some reason and continued to argue with me before giving up and releasing my car with the laptop to me.

I was charged an absurd 100.00 tow fee for a two mile distance! On top of that they charged me for 2.5 gallons of fuel even though they only used about 4 drams to pull my car over there. On top of that they charged me 20.00 for yard storage because I didnt get it out immediatly.

The 30.00 parking ticket would be no big deal and I wouldnt have a problem with just that. What pisses me off is that the tow company pays snitches to call on you and hauls your car as soon as you get out of it. They then charge 300 trillion cash if they feel like it and tack on all the claimed fuel use they want without having to prove how much they really used. If that isnt enough they steal another 20.00 because you supposedly wanted them to have your car on their lot for as long as possible. Their employees are rude and combative beyond words. It took every ounce of self control I had not to rip the driver out of the truck and Zimmerman him. His coworker was pushing for some pain too I can tell all of you, he had mouth on him.

If anyone wants an unregulated business to get into get a tow truck and pay snitches to call you about cars parked in areas that warrant parking tickets. I have discovered that the state of FL allows towing companies to haul any car they want whenever they please and there is no such thing as just getting a parking ticket anywhere in the state thanks to the partnership with the dishonest tow companies. They can charge whatever they please, there is no oversight and no right to file a complaint with anyone or have them investigated.
