Dealer Rater allows unverified reviews to be left on their website. I made a report by phone and they said if we joined them for $300/Month they would remove the review otherwise it will be left for public viewing as it doesnt meet their policy for removal. The review accuses of crimes which have not been filed with any court system and abuse of slander, defamation, libel, etc. Dealer Rater tried to extort us and should not be trusted.

I was googling around to see the reputation of dealer rater.... as I have the same understanding of dealer rater's business ethics... this company is not geniune and built on blackmailing dealers to clean thier true image by asking them to pay up. First and formost... i want to mention, dealer rater is owned by google. I work at a new car franchise dealer, the name does not matter because all dealers are either honest with dealer rater and have good and bad reviews... or they have joined dealer raters devilish practices and paid thier way back to a positive image. My dealership IT manager and I are close friends and I have witnessed the blackmail to pay a heavy monthly "subscription" by dealer rater when requested to remove malicious reviews. Anyone wants proof... let us know, we will most definetly figure out a way to provide this.
