Decor My Eyes How is Stanley Bolds still in business!? - Contacting previous customers to attempt buy back of item purchased! Brooklyn New York

I placed an order with www.decormyeyes.com in June 2007 where he responded back that he did not have the item in stock due to a defect in the frame that he had on hand. He tried to get me to choose another pair, but I refused and stated that I will wait for new frames. I asked for expedited shipping due to the wait and he would not budge, even though it was HIS error. I received my sunglasses 3 weeks later. While I did not receive any rude phone calls or emails, his business practice was completely unacceptable.

Sorry to bother you, but I have a small proposal you may be interested in. On 6/7/2007, we shipped you a pair of the While this item was available at the time that you bought it, its now currently discontinued. I have a client who is interested in this particular item in the color you bought. I just wanted to email you to see if you are willing to sell it back to me for a reasonable price. This item must be in NEW or LIKE NEW condition I would be willing to either pay you for this item, or to give you a credit towards a new item at one of our websites. Please get back to me and let me know if this is of any interest to you. Please reference request # DISC52324 for my internal records, or just respond to this email.

I responded back to him that I would not be able to help him out and that he should be honest with his customers regarding what he has available. I also referenced a recent Rip Off Report that was filed on 12/20/08 to show him that he should change his ways. I think it would be better if he was shut down! Hopefully others searching for discounted designer eyewear will avoid this site!
