Purchased a Defcon game server earlier this week, was surprised at the quick setup, but quickly learned that the server could not be logged into if any of the mods in their TC Admin mod installer were activated.

I submitted a support ticket and got no response, came back the next day to see the ticket closed with no explanation and the problem still present. when I finally got a response they told me that they had just reinstalled the server, and that I should make sure it's working before installing anything, I looked at the server and saw it was still inaccessible, so messaged them back telling them that if they could not fix the problem that I would be expecting a refund.

When they replied back they gave me only a link with instructions on how to cancel my service. I then contacted their billing department and told them I expected a full refund since I had just opened the account and they were already telling me that I should just cancel.

The reply from the billing department told me that I was getting no refund and that if I tried to dispute the charge they would be billing me another $150 for a breach of ToS. so I decided to take the loss and cancel my account and use the server as a public server for the remainder of my subscription. Before I could even set anything up, they had locked me from my account, and had revoked all my passwords, even to their support portal. I tried to call and got a machine that told me I have to login to get any support, and got a daemon failure when I tried to email their support department. If they wish to file a rebuttal on this I will be happy to post the screencaps of my support my allegations.

When I canceled I was given 2 options, immediate cancellation or cancel at the end of my billing cycle and I chose end of billing cycle.

These people do not know how to work with an unhappy customer. I have read all around the net about their bad service since this has happened, but before hand had only looked at the testimonials on their forums, but now I know why their is no negative feedback on their as they lock you from the forums upon cancellation.

These people are sleazy crooks who should be shutdown, buyers beware if you open your mouth and ask for service you're likely to get robbed.

I was willing to take the loss on this and just use server, but these people are so greedy and sleazy that they will flat out steal from you and then try to cover it all up by deleting all of your account information, too bad this time they've been caught and called out, because somebody was smart enough to cap it all before they had a chance to delete the evidence.
