Del Amo Motorsports of Redondo Beach Baited and Switched Redondo Beach California

I made an appointment to buy an advertised motorcycle. When I arrived for my appointment I was told they sold the motorcycle and showed others to buy.

On 6/27/2015, I called and made an appointment with Carl Ginsberg to purchase a motorcycle, 2003 Yamaha V STAR CUSTOM 1100 Stock Number: UPS04655,advertised on cycletrader.com for $2,999: http://www.cycletrader.com/listing/2003-Yamaha-V-STAR-CUSTOM-1100-114760487 When I showed up to my appointment within the hour in which I told Carl I would arrive as I was traveling from a different city with $3,000, I was met by Gary Hill, who told me the motorcycle had been sold already, and he proceeded to show me different motorcycles to purchase.

I called Carl on the phone number he gave me, (424) 456-9655, on my way out and he corroborated the allegation of selling the motorcycle.

In my opinion, this felt like a classic "bait and switch" as no other vehicles I would have purchased would have been of equal value to the one which was advertised. Similar bikes with similar features were priced for more than I had expected to pay.
