I went for an evaluation for Invisiline braces. I paid two payments- one thousand dollars the first time and one more payment of the same amount. I should have run for the hills when the assistant told me to write the check to Dental Implant Center. His query- "what, you want me to go to jail?"
He decided without discussing with me the contraindications of using a dental tool to bore away some of the enamel from between my teeth-- he said it would make it easier for me to floss. Well, the gums pulled away from my teeth and worsened a mild case of periodontitis.
No invisilines for me. But, a year later, I am charged over 4,000 dollars for a procedure I never had. I requested records from the dentist's office, so I will see what will happen now. My advise, do NOT go to the Dental Implant Center for treatment.
