I would like to know why it is that one person can make an allegation and YOUR agency assumes that the individual is guilty without trial, without more than the word of another person, and without a chance to clear the name of the falsely accused?

Tell me about your abuse list...why is it that if an allegation is unfounded that you still list people for 10 months on your abuse registry? Do you think that some of us who work with children might be negatively impacted by that? What if it were you on that list? What if you, Ms. Caseworker, were accused of assaulting a child when you broke down the door and ripped the children out of the mother's arms? Oh, that is right...you have INTERNAL investigations that make you IMMUNE to charges, and just because you have a BACHELOR's DEGREE the agency thinks your wearing a HALO. BUT, let's just say you were accused and you didn't have an agency in your back pocket protecting you from those charges...and you were not guilty of the accusation...and you got fired, or laid off due to the allegations...how would you feel while your looking for work and every time you apply and they run your background check...your name comes up?

What if you were continuing your education and some idiot caseworker says, "WE have no proof, but because this person is credible, we are going to say there are some indicators." What would you do then? Your in the middle of your Master's and now, you cannot work in your chosen field anymore. Your life has been ruined by the lies of your neighbor, or a coworker who just didn't like what you dressed like, or smelled like, or how you held your jaw. YOUR student loans still have to be paid, you cannot find work, and your reputation was ruined...all on false pretenses. What would YOU do?

I would say my civil rights have been violated since I was not afforded Due Process, Miranda or any other such Constitutional protections from what your agency has done.

I would like immediate relief from this and I intend to seek it if you do not provide it on your own. I do think the DCF has many bigger problems and I would love to address them...and one day I will, but for now I would just like you to clear my name.

Your agency is corrupt, Nationwide. You have 80% of all foster homes living off the money you give them to take care of children. They don't have to work, just take care of children. That is not so bad, except the number of false reports that results in you removing children from their parents is staggering! You need a better checks and balances. Oh, yes...let us not forget the children that are being over medicated, medicated without cause, and the padding that goes on at the individual level so that you can increase your funding! AND last but not least, let us not forget that there are children who have died, because you LOST them!! Privatization is not going to change the fundemental problems that you have when they are doing the same things you were! It is not like your agency is a well oiled machine that does not make mistakes. So, in my case, I would appreciate your realizing that a mistake has been made and do what is right and give me my career back. After all, I used to work right along side of you. But, I guess you forgot the time I put in on that.
