DPP

AUTHOR: Jay - (United States of America)

First of all Tom you called the leasing company and had the leases withdrawn so you did not have to pay. Our portfolio was graded at a "B" so there is no way people are going to verbal a lease and then not pay for them when they have good credit. Also the deals were sold all over the country so i could not physically make an owner verbal the lease to the leasing company, nor can their be any FRAUD associated with that deal when the verbal is in place. I have moved on from you guys and the business is thriving and really could care less about the lies and your company reputation. But i do know you guys cant sleep well at night.

Sync Payments

AUTHOR: Jay - (United States of America)

In response to this comment nick the owner of sync payments stole deals from my reps as well as revealed other information that was in violation of our contract. I never stuck any businesses owners with 2 leases. Also Nick lied about the length of time it takes to get paid on leases just a web of lies. But word to the wise if your are an agent or ISO beware of people like these. Because all leases have to be verbaled by the owners, meaning that if they agree over the phone then they want the service. Also i would like to say that vance the manger in lexington is a snake as well. Tread litely

I had a similar experience as DPP...

AUTHOR: Nick - (United States of America)

To those who are reading this, I hope that you are reading this BEFORE deciding to work with Jay as my company's experience is similar to the experience described by DPP.  After my company, Sync Payments, decided not to work with Jay any longer he started harrasing me, my employees and other agents.  Some agents decided to sign-up as distributors of ours directly after they reported to me that Jay did not pay them for thier sales efforts.

Merchants actually reported to us that Jay sent in lease applications to other lease companies and tried to get the leases that have already been fulfilled - leaving the potential of merchants being stuck with two lease payments for the same equipment.  I advised these merchants to report this to authorities as credit fraud AND identity theft since this action would entail stealing personal credit information and supplying it to others without permission.  If such action was taking through the mail, federal mail fraud charges will be investigated also.

I know other Agents who have represented DPP and I have heard nothing but good things about how they conduct business.  I have been in the industry for over 15 years and I know the bad guys - and I certainly would trust Jim and Tom's story over Jay's.

Don't believe Jim or Tom at DPP these guys did not pay 8k out of 20k they owe me. For the record ask yourself if i knew you for a month and i owed you 20k and came up with every excuse in the book not to pay. What do you call that?

Set The Record Straight

AUTHOR: Jim - (United States of America)

Ripoff Report.com,

The complaint filed by Jabari (Jay) Rattler against Tom Shanley and Jim Black of Dependable Payment Processing is not accurate in any way, shape or form.

As a registered ISO powered by First Data, we have worked extremely hard over the last 12+ years building a solid, reliable and trustworthy business for our merchants and Sales Group Partners alike.  In fact, if you search online you will see we have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.  Additionally, no other Sales Group Partners nor valued Merchants have filed complaints against DPP, presently or in the past.

On the other hand, if you search Jabari Rattler on the internet you will find many instances of alleged dishonesty and unscrupulous business practices by this individual.

Unfortunately, on July 2, 2012 we entered into a sales partnership with Jabari for him to sell merchant services through our channel into First Data.  Jabari came out of the gate strong by boarding several merchant accounts in the first few days.

Things were looking good from a partnership standpoint.

As well, during this time Jabari was attempting to partner with a leasing company to process and fund his lease deals so he could make up-front money to supplement his credit card processing revenue.  After multiple attempts, he was denied by several leasing companies around the country.

At the same time, he kept asking us to process his leases for him which is against DPP policy due to the risk of fraudulent deals or chargebacks that could take place within the first 2 months of any lease deal.  This, of course, would leave DPP liable if any deals were disputed or proved fraudulent.

Because of repeated requests by Jabari, we worked out an addendum to process the lease deals he submitted.  To minimize DPPs risk, we agreed to fund 50% of the up-front lease revenue and hold the remaining 50% in escrow until the chargeback period expired(60 days).  After 60 days, any funds held in escrow would be released.  The details of the addendum were clearly presented to Jabari and he agreed to the terms and signed the addendum which we have on file.

After we discovered some of his deals were questionable, we froze the funds being held in escrow and stopped processing his lease deals.  In addition, we cut off our relationship with him as a Sales Group Partner / Agent the following day.

Jabari then accused DPP of being crooks and spread lies about our character and trustworthiness.  He also issued threats to me and other DPP employees.

Needless to say, as of today, 9 of the 15 leases we processed for Jabari have come back as chargebacks.  Furthermore, we anticipate several more lease chargebacks in the coming weeks.

Frankly, we have gone above and beyond to work with signed Jabari merchants to reverse bad leases and close merchant accounts that should have never been opened in the first place because it is the right thing to do.

To make matters worse, we ended up paying Jabari approximately $8,000.00 at the agreed to 50% up front rate.  So far, the chargebacks total $17,500 which equates to a $9,500 loss for Dependable Payment Processing because the leases have been reversed by us.

Obviously, this relationship has cost us some money and we will learn from it.

With that said, we felt compelled to respond to Jabaris inaccurate and untrue comments in order to save our companies good name in the marketplace.  Our reputation is way more important than the $9,500 loss we will experience from doing business with him.

In closing, we wish nothing but the best for Jabari Jay Rattler.  However, as a merchant and/or ISO working in the merchant services industry, if you ever run across his path please be careful and forewarned.

Jim
