Took my vehicle in for a warranty repair of my transmission or electronic shifter and was told by the service advisor that there was no problem detected. My vehicle is a 6 speed automatic with the ability to shift manually. This feature worked when I outer chased the vehicle from d**k Scott but has stopped. The service advisor told me to manually shift to fix the problem. They even wrote this comment on my service order. I consulted my owners manual and confirmed that my transmission is not functioning properly. I have an extended Mopar warranty which covers my transmission for 100% parts and labor. Dealer refuses to acknowledge the issue and charged me $89 for each item that was not covered by the warranty for diagnostics. They basically forced me into have more work done than I wanted because of the diagnostic charges which exceeded $800.

1st You need to change dealers. Any Chrysler Dealer can do your Extended Warranty service.
2nd You need to call the extended warranty phone number and ask for help. and compensation for the bogus charges.
3rd At the New dealer, make sure your explain you want to contact Chrysler about the problems you are having getting service at the old Dealer. You want to get a call back from the Chrysler Service Rep.
