Digital Audio Speakers rip-off! Simi Valley California

Well I was at the bank one day, on my way to work and these guys pull up in a white late model Astro van and its full of boxes. They appeared late 20's or early 30's, white, blue-collar worker types. They gave me the story... these speakers "fell off the truck" and that they just wanted to get rid of them for cheap. They gave me a neat-looking pamphlet that stated a retail value of these speakers at $1999.99.

At first I said no, but then they really poured on the juice, lowering their asking price by hundreds of dollars. Never mind the thought that I had never heard of a brand called "Digital Audio", by this time I thought I would get these speakers at a steal for $240 bucks. I can find no information on "Digital Audio" speakers, its just a generic thing. At least they look real nice and they don't sound half bad at all...
