Digital Plus Store came up along with legitimate vendors in a bot list of sellers of the Amazon Fire Stick with a good price and an offer of a one-time discount of $15, along with an excellent rating from buyers.  So I placed my order with them and paid with paypal.

When the item arrived, it came in a padded mailer containing an unmarked box with some paper packing material and a plastic bag with no markings or accompanying shipping documents, instructions or warranty materials, along with what may or may not have been a new Amazon Fire Stick and remote control.  

Under the circumstances, I considered that I had no way of knowing whether the item I received was new or used, so I tried to contact the seller so I could return the item and get my money back.  However, I received no response to my e-mail.  In the process of trying to locate contact information, I also noticed the "Ripoff Report" notice about Digital Plus Store's being a scam.

So I waited a few days and then filed a claim with PayPal.  I may or may now eve see my money again.  Meanwhile, I have not opened the plastic bag.
