These fees ended up totaling over 400%. I paid $200/mo and after 6 months owed more than I borrowed. I did pay off the loan and paid more than double what I had borrowed. las vegas Nevada or anahiem California

I requested a loan from Westernsky for $1500, which then later became Dilbert Services about 6 months ago.

When getting the loan not all the fees and interest rates were disclosed nor explained which ended up totaling over 400%. If I would have had knowledge of the amount it was going to cost me (which is insane) I would have never got this loan to begin with.

I made payments of around $200 for 5/6 months at which time I found out I owed more than the original amount! At that time I just went ahead and paid it off. So at this time I do not owe them any money.

I would like to see action taken against them for not divuldging all fees and interest rates, violating consumer rights and excess rate charges. They even have a complaints tab and page on their website - obviously due to an abnormally amount that they must incur.

Subprime lender...

AUTHOR: Tyg - ()

POSTED: Monday, January 20, 2014

Your credit is SO BAD that you had to go with a subprime lender. This means much higher then normal interest rates. Repair your credit and then you can get a loan at a bank or credit union. Otherwise you will continue to have to use companies such as WS. I have seen the commercials for WesternSky and they tell everyone in the commercial that they will be paying MORE then they normally would. As for them not telling you, are your eyes BROKEN?? Did you FAIL basic reading?? Or did you do like EVERY person does, this was the solution to your IMMEDIATE problem and really didnt care as to the consiquences LATER. I can tell you this much, YOU DID NOT READ THE PAPERWORK!!!! You signed and signed and collected your money and thats as far as you wanted to go with it. It wasnt until you realized that after a period of payment there was an issue that you read your paperwork.

I would suggest that in the future if your going to sign and put your signature down on an official form, that you READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. You cant NOW claim they are ripping you off AFTER you have used the money and signed the paperwork. Its not a ripoff or a scam. Its the cost of having to go to a subprime lender and your s** credit.
