This started in December 2013 when a saleman named Charles told me he could get me a better price with direct tv than dish. I was with dish at the time of the phone call. I was like to about the price . I kept asking him is he sure that 44.00 was the only charge, no other charges and he said yes; I got my first month bill and it was close to 80.00 . I was also promised a gift card which I did not get but I made such demands on them I did get a credit to my bill.

I told Charles at the time of the phone call that I needed to call Dish to make sure my contract was up and he said we do the billing right here so I can check on that for you. He said my contract was up and so I agreeded to have Direct tv hooked up. After it was hooked up I called Dish and was told my contract was not up.

So I have to call Direct Tv and fight again for being mislead again. I was told by a manager that they were not resonsible for there employee misquotes or mistakes. So now I am stuck with two contracts.

I was given the Jeanie which I did not ask for and called direct tv back and told them I did not order this but they told me I was getting a credit and I should keep it until credit runs out, which I did.

I called Nov. 2013 and told Direct tv that since I did not order the Jeanie that the saleman just assumed thats what I wanted , and my credit for this had run out I wanted two standard receivers. I was told that would cost me 198.00. I told them I was not paying for someone elses mistake.

They transferred me to a Eian in the retention Dept. He said don't worry that he would get me two standard receivers out at no charge . They installed these the next day. When the third party person came on they stated that his would extend my contract out for 24 more months and Eian had promised me that this would not hapen and my commitment date was up on December 5 2014. So I was explaning that to third party company and they were rude and told me I had to agree or cancel the order. I cancelled.

I called right back and requested to speak with Eian but of course that was impossible. I was not talking to Dwayne in Tennessee. I explained everything to him and he went back and read the notes and said that there were notes in the system about sending out the new equipment would not extend my contract. However the third party company only had one thing to read and I was advised to go ahead and agree with the third party agreement and It was in system not to extend contract. 

Well the December bill came in and I was still being charged for a Hd receiver. I called and they said they could see where I requested standard receiver but the order had HD receiver on it. I told them I was not responsible for there mistake once again. That is when I fould our that my contract was unit Nov 2015. I just about lost it and was told that I agreeded with the third party company and there was nothing they could do about it .

She also told me there was nothing she could do about me being charged 10.00 a month for the HD receiver. I demanded to speak to the highest person possible. This person was nice and told me she was on my side and understood where I was coming from. She did take the 10.00 charge off my bill. I just hope it stays off each month. She informed me the contract date would have to be sent to another dept and they would get back with me about the decision. 

I got the decision and they will not change it. I have wasted hours , lost work every month because of this company which is nothing but lies. I have names, dates, and notes on everytime I have spoken to a customer service rep. I feel it is very unfair that I was told one think and not they are not honoring what they promised me. I would like for this to be investigated, phone calls subpoenaed  or what ever it takes to for this company to hold its end of the bargain. I know that there are laws that protect the comsumer against this type of action. I just need to know where I need to go without the cost being on me. I am already on a budget and Direct tv has already done a good job of blowing that for me. Please advice.
