Signed up with DirectTv through Costco webset to get the promo offer of $200 gift card from Costco for signing up. Months later I did not recieved what was promised. Notified Customer service, they first stated there was no record of me signing up online or in costco Store or by phone. When I asked how that could be since I am signed up? The next response was o did see you signed up on line but not through Costco so you do not qualify still. They did acknowledge that the promotion was going on at the time I signed up and still is going on.
I was told to go to thier website often as they will have other promo's going on. I was also offered a one time courtesy credit of $50.00. This after just 3 attempts to get this wrong righted. Ask if a supervisor had been involved and there was no answer just a courtsy rep. Guess this tactic must work most of the time to get customer to just give up.
Watch out for their promo's casue they will not pay but will hold you to the contact. For them it is all about the money and who cares about the promises they make.
