My credit card was only to be used one time.I made Directv aware of this. Not only did they use my credit card twice, which put me in default with the bank I finally canceled them.Went into account again and took out over 200.00 for cancelation fees.I never signed a contract.i also never, authorized Directv to go into Bank aacount.

I still stand strong on what happened to me and other victums. I never gave authorization,to get into my bank account, one time only for installation.I never signed a contract.Directv had a class action lawsuit, for doing the same thing to customers and lost.

#2 General Comment

Yes you did...

AUTHOR: Tyg - ()

Yes you did at some point or you would have never had services. It was probably when they installed your dish originally. The techs would have given you a few pieces of paper to sign. Probably as you were on the phone with the DirecTV operator. In the body of that contract you give them EXPRESS permission to collect ANY debt owed by you immediatly upon cancellation of your services. And tyo use the card they have on file. If you used a debit card for making payments then they will use that card. If you used had no money on that debit card, then they would have taken it from your credit card on file.

Why would you think you had no contract? Everyone who provides a service uses a contract of some form. Be it a online trial offer to a cellphone. There is NO straight "pay as you view" TV services. I know there are quite a few online streaming services that do this.

You wont see ANY refunds. Its in the contract. ANY cancellation reguardless of WHO does it, means that YOU will be charged the ETF.
