We have had 2 albums with ditto music, they took over 200 dollars of our money and they do not respond to emails in a timely fashion.  BE EXPECTED TO WAIT FOR AT LEAST 2 WEEKS BEFORE YOU GET A RESPONSE TO ANY EMAIL STATING YOU HAVE A PROBLEM! 

They will however respond to emails in the beginning and IF YOU ARE NEW, because they want YOUR MONEY!.......BEWARE AND RUN FROM THEM!.........We are currently going through our credit card company to try to get a REFUND.

Despite how nice the website looks on the outside, we have reason to believe it's just A START UP COMPANY with 1 OR 2 employees working from home.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH DITTO MUSIC!........They are not professional AND THEY WILL take YOUR MONEY!........

Stick with THE BIG DOGS like CDBaby, Songcast or Tunecore!.....(At least with them you can talk to a live person or get a favorable response to your questions ...IF YOU CHOOSE DITTOMUSIC YOU WILL BE SORRY, AND IT WILL BE YOU NEXT POSTING THESE COMPLAINTS!.......Stay Blessed!

ditto music have just taken a 'future payment' from my account without my consent, approval or any notice of it going to happen, and are ignoring my emails requesting a refund

 Dittomusic's attitude and conduct is terrible. Their response is fast when it involves transferring funds to them. However, when it comes to transferring funds to the customer and general inquiries, their response is slow and downright rude at times. They will reply with ridiculous excuses for their unprofessional behaviour when they have already shown that they can respond promptly. Their response is selective I.e. When a customer intends to transfer funds to them. At the moment, they have promised me to refund an incorrect charge directly on my credit card within 5 to 7 business days.

Over 15 business days have passed and I have yet to receive a reply to my email. Dittomusic used to have a good reputation. However, over the past 3 years a lot of labels and artists as week as reviewed have reported poor conduct and dishonesty. Maybe they grew too fast and couldn't handle it or got greedy, I don't know exactly what but they don't seem to be very open either. At this rate, they will have setup heir own failure. Stay away from Dittomusic.

Casee.  You had a minor support issue and tweeted me (the CEO) personally on a weekend with agressive and condescending language.  I tried to help immediately and to this you sent me an abusive and agressive email containing several offensive statements and telling me how to run my business.  You then posted libellous statements over as many websites as you can find without stating that a) we already gave you a refund b) everything happened within the correct time-frame.

We are here to serve musicians and give them the chances my brother and I had when we were in a band.  If the CEO of the company taking time out to support you on a weekend isn't good enough then we wish you all the best.

My name is Casee Wilson and several weeks ago I uploaded my new release, Riptides, onto the Ditto Music system for a release date of the 31st July. 

Initially, I had difficulty submitting my release, as the Ditto Music website kept adding erroneous charges to the amount owed, and I had to contact the Liverpool office by phone to try to resolve the situation, which had already delayed the upload of the release by several days while I first waited for an email response to the ticket I submitted, and then tried to get through on the phone. 

The employee I spoke to eventually assured me that the release would be given priority. At this point it still had at LEAST a fortnight until release day, so I paid the £26.40 to release my album and have it delivered to stores including iTunes and Amazon. At this point, I was advertising that it would be available on the 31st July, given that Ditto's own website stipulates that iTunes generally takes 24-48 hours and Amazon takes 4-7 days - Ditto had my music for 14 days, so I had no reason to believe there would be an issue. 

Release day arrived, and neither Amazon or iTunes were selling the album. It's now three days overdue. I promoted its release day extensively and have now had to apologise to my fans for not delivering what I promised. By the time I can telephone again, on Monday, it will be FIVE days late. This is a paid for service, and my reputation is being damaged by the unprofessional conduct of Ditto Music. 

This report seeks to provide a rebuttal to the rebuttal by the CEO of Ditto Music, Matt Parsons, who has not replied to any of my tweets to him asking how this can be resolved. I would ask him to of course confirm that I have a release through Ditto Music (I can provide the bar code if he is having difficulty tracing it), in case he feels that my report is a hoax and I would say that in no way is the service provided by his company at an acceptable level. It doesn't matter how many artists Ditto are distributing, they should be keeping track of EVERY single release, including the releases from small independent artists who are trying to build a reputation and a fan base.

* We have no such artist or case on our system.

* Ditto Music have not been contacted by any credit card companies regarding refunds.

* Ditto Music are not a 'start-up with 2 staff'. 
As you will see HERE, I founded the company in 2005/2006 with my brother Lee.  
We now employee many staff and have offices in Liverpool and Nashville.  Ditto Music have around 50,000 artists and 6,000 record labels worldwide.

The URL is a link to the exact same hoax comment re-posted on a different site, with a comment underneath exposing it for the hoax it is.
