Dogg Digital Aka Digital Audio 2000 Aka flagged me down to the side of the road and sold me some junk speakers, rip off scam, con artists, ripped off and scammed dirty ripoff liars Clearwater Florida

Coming back home from Clearwater beach (FL) with a friend. Some Eon Robison lookalike guy with tattoes waved us over driving a grey SUV saying he had some speakers he needed to get rid of.

So we both pull over conviently (for him) right in front of a bank with an ATM. He talks really fast, seemed cool but in a rush, said he had a work order to pickup 2 speakers from one place to take to his boss. But when he went to pickup the speakers they "accidently" gave him 4 too many, so a total of six.

Anyways he goes on about how great the speakers are, they are still in the box and are definately new speakers however they are priced at $1000 each on the box and on his work order which is really only a Fedex folder with some fake worksheet on the outside.

He's talking so fast but he says he has to go. Price goes from $500 each to $350 a pair. So seemingly being such a good deal my friend buys a pair, goes to the ATM gets money etc. Well then he cons me into buying the other pair for $250. Its only after getting into back into my friends car that I realize we just gave a complete stranger $600 in cash for a no name product.

Thinking we got such a good deal on them we thought we could sell them on the internet and maybe make a little profit which was my original idea when i bought them. Well they wouldn't sell even at what I paid for them. So i got conned out of my hard earned cash and some con artist is laughning all the way to the bank.

I've read alot on the internet about how bad these scams are becoming with the same product useing a slightly varying con. All the way from Washington State to Florida. I hope they catch these guys because I want my money back and I'm sure thousands of others do too. Maybe you've seen the same guy in the Florida area. This all happened at the beginning of Summer 2003.
