Took out a loan I was assured was an installment loan, have paid them more than 200% of the loan amount, then missed a payment because of insufficient funds in my checking account. They began sending me text and email messages saying they were going to contact my employer for the purposes of collecting.
I know this is illegal, so made a complaint with the NC Attorney General's office. The NCAG sent a compy of the letter they sent to Dollars@Day to me - informing them that their loan was void, as it was illegal under NC law and they had 15 days to respond to the AG.
They simply claimed they never got the letter, so I scanned and sent it directly to them. They now admit they have seen it, but they don't care and will collect, as I signed a contract.
They now threaten to send it to outside collections.
In addition, they tried pinging my ATM card multiple times for several days, until I closed the card, then stole nearly $200.00 from my account using the routing and account number, I filed with Wells Fargo and they are putting that back.
These people are complete scofflaws and scumbags. Do NOT get involved with them.
