donate timeshares offered to donate my timeshare to a charity. as soon as they got my money, they claimed that i was late sending back the contract. they said that  i now had to pay the maintnance fees, which they promised that i would never have to pay another maintnance fee. my lawyer sent them numerous letters saying that they owed the fee. they finally paid it the first year, but not the followinn 3 years. i ended up paying for them or the timeshare was going to give it to a collection company.icontacted the attorney generals of california, n.y. and the u.s. didnt get any satisfaction. since i paid them with a credit card, i contacted visa about getting my moneyback. donate timeshares refuses to give me my money back. every time i call them, its the same story, we are working on it. they have done nothing other than keep my money.if you go to there website, and read the coments from other people, there stories are identical to mine.
