I am a staff member at a hotel in New York City. Donna Goodman stayed here. From the time she checked in, she acted erratically and displayed strange behavior. She said the ceiling had collapsed in her apartment and she needed a hotel room for cheap. I negotiated a lower price out of kindness and because business was lagging.

She paid in cash and was unable to provide a valid credit card because they were all "maxed out". She conducted "business meetings" in her room, from which I could often hear her screaming at people on the phone and cursing. Halfway through her stay, she comes to the front desk claiming she was robbed of make up products and the staff conspired to take her belongings. Not only has this never happened at our hotel, but it was a complete fabrication.

She concocted a fake scenario in the hopes of getting all her money back and having the hotel room completely for free. When the staff responded that they did not know what she was talking about and tried to help, she cursed everyone out and made several horrific racist comments. She then threatened to call the police and a lawyer. In the following days, she went on to claim people were "spying" on her and she went aroung taking pictures and recording video of staff without their consent.

She actually did call the cops, but even when they came they encountered her stange behavior they dismissed her claims entirely. I would advise anyone who comes in contact with this woman to beware. She appears to be not in touch with reality and a professional scammer and con artist. Steer clear if you know what's good for you. We will never let her back here.
