This guy is a thief and a liar.  I wanted to switch from oil heat to natural gas and this guy was a nephew of friends of ours.  He came over and gave us a price of $10,000 to remove the old oil burner and put in a new gas system.  We agreed and like dopes we paid him up front.
First of all he told us that he worked under the authority of his boss's  plumbing license and everything would be done legally. NOT!  He never got any permits or notified the gas company of the change.  The system he installed had a instant on gas water heater and a heat exchanger feed by the water heater that heated the water for the baseboard heat.
It never worked right from the start and he came back a number of time and still couldn't get it right.  He left here many times saying he was going to talk to the expert who designed this kind of system.  We had some real cold days last winter and we had days when we woke up that it was 55 degrees in the house. He left here at the end of winter saying that he was coming back next week with a larger heat exchanger.  We haven't seen him since.  He doesn't answer his phone when we call and completely ignores us.
I have a guy coming in  to correct this mess and I guess I will be seeing Mr. Weingarten in court.
