I ordered an 'original' remote control for my sky box. This arrived promptly as I paid using Pay-Pal. It did not work properly, whilst my old one worked perfectly so I knew it was the remote that was at fault. This is where my problems began! I returned this asking for a refund as I had lost confidence and was convinced this was a cheap copy and not an original sky remote as advertised.(I do not have proof of this, but it was not of the same quality as my old sky remote that came with the sky installation) Many emails later and only three replies over two months, my request for a refund, (or now even a replacement would have been perhaps better than nothing) was ignored. The first reply, declined a refund or replacement even though the web page offers a replacement! The second reply some weeks later acknowledged receipt of the faulty remote and offered a replacement or a refund but if I wanted a refund then postage , packing and pay pal fees were to be deducted. I replied that I would accept the postage costs but Pay Pal do not charge fees if the transaction is refunded,a fact that he would or should have known. Nothing happened again. The last reply to my emails some time later told me not to email him anymore as they would not be answered and he wasn't going to refund as he hadn't had the remote returned to him- short memory then!
Now most people I think would not have bothered to take this matter as far as I have simply because the items he sells are only around the 11.00 mark so we all shrug our shoulders and this company is getting away with it. It appears that they have no interest once they have your money and will not let you have it back for any reason, so if you are one of the lucky customers ( I assume there to be some?) that receive a working remote control then great but if like me you get one that doesn't work well then you might as well throw your 11 + down the drain as this lot will never give a
penny back!
