I bought a vehicle from Downtown Auto Sales in Manchester and the gentleman that helped me were great and were as sweet as pie. I went in paying $6,000 CASH for a vehicle. I put a deposit down and came back a week later to pick it up. Once I was there, a few things came up that we didn't find out until then. The guy said "Oh the SRS ligth is on", which is something that would deter from validating an inspection. He gave me a temporary inspection sticker and told me to come back within a few hundred miles to plug it back into the OBD2 testing machine. While this is going on, my car started to leak from the front of it and it was my antifreeze leaking so I brought it to them and he quoted me $500 and didnt even bother to acknowledge the fact that I just bought it a month and a half earlier. I got him to do the job for $400 to replace the waterpump. A day later, he calls me and tells me that it's NOT the waterpump and its a timing cover gasket that needs to be replaced that is $22.00 to buy. He then charged me $400 for labor after he told me it would be much cheaper than $400 and I called every single hour to find out the final price and he would never give it to me so I had to get there to find out it was that much. He clearly did NOT know how to fix this problem and was just looking to make a buck. The best part is that I went to pick up my car and there is a LOUD ticking that comes from the front of it that he said would go away with an oil change and that same DAY the radio was fuzzy and my SERVICE ENGINE light came on and the SRS light came back on too. I called Artie, the mechanic, and he said it "wasnt his problem" and he swore and was rude and hung up on me twice. Once I realized that Dave Moran was the owner, I called back and asked for his number and they wouldnt give it to me. He kept hanging up on me and refused to give me his number. I looked up this company with the secretary of state and public records show that this company was dissolved in 2006 and now it is in "NOT GOOD STANDING" This shows this company is acting in a fraduelent manner and is ripping people off. I am taking this to the next step and getting an attorney involved because Artie doesn't know what he is doing and he is charging people to do jobs that he is uneducated on.

I dealt with Mike and Joe and they were both great to work with. Both followed through and called me when they said they would and kept me abreast of everything that was going on. I will be moving further with this because now it is an issue with my safety. All the lights in my car are on that should not be on and I should feel safe driving my car.
