Dr Bader's Natural Solutions Pest Control Books TV offers both books & free shipping. Automated system wants all bank card info before you are allowed to place order. Basically you don't know what you are ordering. Internet

Dr Baders natural solutions pest control books (2 books) are offered on TV ad for 19.95 and TV ad says "ask for FREE shipping". Problem is automated system does not allow you to ask for free shipping before you give your bank card info, nor do you know if you are getting both books for 19.95 before giving bank card info.  I did not continue the order because the last time I did this with another  TV offer I was overcharged for the item and did not get free shipping.  And I was not able to cancel the order through the automated system.  That was a two for one flexible garden hose company.  To make matters worse the hoses were defective.  So, in light of that bad experience, I did not give Dr. Baders company my bank card info and was not able to place the orderphone.  TV phone number is 800-364-1623 for Dr Bader's ad. 

Basically, I am complaining that the automated systems do not tell you exactly what you are ordering and if you will get free shipping until you give them the bank card info in which case if it is a ripoff, it is too late.  This is a bait and switch.  I was charged a different amount with the hose company and shipping.  My order should have been $12.99 for two hoses with free shipping.  Instead I was charged 19.99 plus shipping which turned out to be a $30.00 order.There are two companies that offer the flexible hoses.  If I can find out which one it was I will file another complaint with you for that one.

I saw where you already had a complaint about Dr Bader's books, so I decided to ad my name.  Thanks, Hope you can help consumers from these TV ripoffs.  And by-the-way when I went online to try to get the special offer, I did get there contact number and a human being on the phone, but they could not give me the free shipping and they wanted $9.99 extra for the second book.  That phone number is 877-223-2767.  The guy said that after I give my card number I can ask for free shipping.  I told him under those conditiions, I will not place the order.  Then I saw your ad online.
