Dr. Bunny Vreeland,

Now is your chance to defend yourself. It is strange that you are not dealing with the points on your education Why is this? This is a chance to verify your
training that you have gone through . On your website you claim to be the following:

"..I'm Bunny Vreeland PhD, a Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. My

Ventura County hypnotherapy practice has helped people stop smoking with hypnosis, lose weight with hypnosis, and reduce stress. Whether you are considering hypnosis for weight loss, hypnosis to stop smoking, or hypnosis to reduce stress, I can help. The name of my business is Image Resource Center.

The concrn that should be on all the mids of the people you have been working with is that most of your degree and certifications are given out to anyone that will pay the money and give little time to become properly educated. Many of the exact degrees and certifications on yor website appear in a story :

How to Find a Qualified Hypnotherapist
Steve K. D. Eichel, Ph.D., ABPP
http://www.hypnosisnetwork.com/articles/a/37/This-Cat-Is-Not-a-Hypnotist

So, after everyone copies the link and pastes it in the address barr, then read the story it will bring up many more questions

"..Most people are familiar with sales hype, and generally know the old saying that if it sounds too good to be truethen it probably isn't. That adage certainly applies to hypnosis as well. Hypnosis tapes (and practitioners!) claiming instant or super-fast results are probably misleading you. There are hypnosis tapes/CDs publishers run by outright hucksters. As a general rule, if the website seems to violate common sense, then have the sense to move on. It is also prudent to avoid tapes, CDs (and their promoters) who claim to be able to cure long-term problems, like alcoholism or chronic depression. If these tapes and CDs wind up delaying or preventing someone from obtaining real help, then they have not only failed to "cure," they may have caused actual harm..."

The below link states

"There is no accredited university or college in the United States that offers a degree in hypnosis or hypnotherapy (but there are in the U.K.). Certification by an organization such as the National Guild of Hypnotists can indicate some level of legitimacy and training, but consumers still need to exercise caution.

Unfortunately, it's easy for anyone to purchase a doctorate from diploma mills. When consulting a hypnotist or hypnotherapist outside of your normal health-care plan who presents themselves as a "Dr.", you may want to ask them if they are licensed to practice medicine or therapy by the state. There are legitimate licensed medical, psychological and counseling professionals who use hypnosis as part of their therapeutic practice.

In the end This is not a way ruin your good reputations for if it is built on rock of truth you have nothing to fear. However, if the things are true that you ar accused you deserve legal action taken aginst you. because this would mean for 25 years and am in very misled and stole from those in yourcommunity.

Dr Vreeland is the real deal

AUTHOR: Mike Osborne - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, August 28, 2015

Purusing the Internet is always an interesting activity.

After I booked an appointment with Dr. Vreeland, I came across this odd review (complaint?)

As I have had a great experience with Dr. Vreeland, I am compelled to rebut. And, I find it very odd that the complaint is an anonymous post. If anyone is to take the complaint to heart, the poster needs to provide a name, so we consumers know this is in fact a real patient of Dr. Vreeland.

So!

Enough about that!

The claims made in said complaint are absurd, and as I have greatly benefited from Dr. Vreeland's treatment, I unequivocally recommend her to anyone who wants to make changes in their lives, and are willing to do the work needed in order to make a better life for themselves. Therapy of any kind requires the patient to participate, actively... And it sounds like this person did no "heavy lifting". We need to take ownership of our state of mind and utilize the tools provided us to make positive changes.

Dr. vreeland is empathetic and compassionate- but she pulls no punches- She will tell you like it is, and it sounds like the lost soul who wrote this complaint/review wanted to blame outward instead of addressing the internal issues. Shame.

So, if you want to make progress, if you are wrestlig with internal struggles and issues, book an appointment with Dr. Vreeland. Be prepared to hear some things you are not used to hearing. Be prepared to do some work on yourself.

My name is Mike Osborne, and I live in Ventura California, look me up, I will be happy to answer any questions you have.

Incorrect impression left with the above complaint

AUTHOR: BillT - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, October 28, 2012

The above complaint cites a source as saying that "there is no accredited college or university that offers a degree in hypnotherapy"(paraphrased).  This fosters an incorrect impression.  The Hypnosis Motivation Institute, Tarzana, CA is the nation's first nationally accredited school which offers training leading to certification as a hypnotherapist.  http://www.hypnosis.edu.  As a certified hypnotist from this institution, I can assure you that their training and their certification  is quite legitimate and conforms with standards established by the Distance Education Training Council and the US Department of Education.  A recommendation would be to ask for verification of training from this institution prior to engaging the services of a hypnotist.
