Dr. David Amron Roxbury Institute Paid over 12,000 for liposuction. Not only did he NOT remove the fat, he left bumps and ridges. Beverly Hills California

We flew out to California, and I paid 12,000 for my teen daughter to have hereditary "saddlebags" removed. I paid more than the typical cost, thinking that you get what you pay for, and I didn't want to take the chance with my kid. I myself had the same surgery some 25 yrs ago and promised myself that if my daughter developed the saddlebags, I would have it fixed as soon as she is old enough because they simply do not respond to diet or exercise. We did not expect miracles. We did not do this for weight loss. We paid this doctor a fortune to have these saddlebag lumps smoothed out and clearly he neglected to do his part.

It is now nearly 3 months post surgery and you would never know she even had saddlebag liposuction. Furthermore, she has several dents/bumps on the back of her thighs that she did not have before the surgery, and we never even asked for him to do the backs of her thighs. Her legs actually look worse than before he touched her.

It is unfortunate that I only read his Realself reviews and did not read his Yelp reviews, as several people have the identical complaint and there are actually a dozen reviews that were removed by Yelp for not adhering to policy, which means the doctor's stellar PR team had them removed.

The pain my daughter (and the others) went through was extreme and the results are nothing like his before and after photos on the website. I am beside myself that now she will have to go through this again, if nothing else to fix the surgical bumps and ridges he left behind. You can imagine what this is for a 17 yr old girl.

We do have high quality photo's of before and after. We also have photo's of the "fat" that was removed, and it is basically just blood tinged saline with a dollop of fat floating in it, not even close to the amount of fat I had removed for the same surgery, and I am smaller than my daughter.

I am just shaking my head that this guy can get away with this. Pretty sure he is simply injecting saline and sucking it out. Then I found out he is a dermatologist, not a surgeon.

I emailed them and was actually told that sometimes the fat is hard to remove, and also that we may not see the results for up to a year! Of course, no one mentioned this before or after the surgery, that the fat was hard to remove, and that we may or may not be throwing away 12 grand. In fact, I did quite a bit of research and I have never heard of any doctor not being able to do a successful liposuction surgery due to the fat being hard to remove. It is common knowledge, that we should be seeing at least 90% of the results at this point. Not sure what they think my IQ is.

I sent them our before and after photo's and asked to set a follow up exam; now they will not even respond, which is par for the course according to the reviewers on Yelp. Oh, and he had us sign a thing that we will not post negative reviews, which obviously I am ignoring. I want my money back so that we can have this fixed, if that is even possible.
