THE 30 DAY EMPTY JAR GUARANTEE

I am so confident that you will be more than satisfied with your purchase of any of the Dr. Dennis Black, N.D. Family of Products, I am providing my 30 Day Empty Bottle Satisfaction Guarantee so you can try it risk free!

_______________________________________________________________________________________

I paid $200+ for one container of this stuff and signed up for auto-fill option.  I tried it for two weeks, could not stomach the taste nor was I satisfied with any results.  I called the company on day 28 to request a refund because I was not satisfied.  First they refused my request.  Then they proceeded to tell me the guarantee does not provide a refund but instead a store credit.  Call me stupid but if I don't like your product how is a store credit going to honor the "risk free" statement on the website.  Second, I requested to cancel future shipments to which they replied I could not because it was set up to auto-fill, and the auto-fill had already processed and could not be cancelled.  They then advised they would neither credit my original order nor the auto-fill order and I could not refuse the auto-fill shipment.  So now I am in for $435 in garbage powder that I am not satisfied with and am certainly at risk for - remember above "risk free" - I call BS on that.

What is more distressing is as soon as I questioned anything they were telling me, (more than one person over three days on the phone) they became rude, combative, and accusatory blaming me for not reading the "fine print" buried in the website far removed from the statement cut and pasted above. Emply jar guarantee does not mean a refund and we can't refund if you opened the jar?? WHAT?  I can't even return the second bottle that is unopened and that was forced on me.

I have contacted my CC company and they denied my first claim saying the site provided them with documentation to support the charges, however the CC company failed to follow-up with me for my documentation.  I will re-file next week and should prevail with just the link to the front page of the website.  There is a reason this company doesn’t take AMEX too, AMEX would tell them to go pound sand and charge back my money if I was dissatisfied and they offered a satisfaction guarantee. Plus the fact AMEX charges 1.5% more for the transaction also demonstrating how cheap this company is - they will not refund money to a unsatisfied customer because they are right, the customer is not.  Beware, once the transaction is done you are at the mercy of Dr. Black and Company's Thefts-R-Us tactics.

Interesting "General Comment" - the day after I got a Refund

AUTHOR: Matt S. - ()

POSTED: Friday, August 15, 2014

You don't work for them but took the time to research and reply - interesting - especially the day after the company issued me a refund.  FYI, the empty jar guarantee was not posted to the website until the day AFTER I placed my order so there is that.

The simple fact you have to go find fine print means the BIG BOLD LETTERS on the first page of the website stating 100% Satisfaction Guarantee is in of itself a lie because the fine print says so.  If you feel the need to defend consumers from not reading the fine print then I can only assume you have interests that are not genuine.

This site represents Rip-Offs, bait and switch is a rip off - if you say something is true and then say its not in fine print, I say that qualifes as a Rip-Off hence my posting.

The Info Is On The Website

AUTHOR: Jeff - ()

POSTED: Thursday, August 14, 2014

I am not a representative of the company, I do not work for them, I have never even made a purchase from them.  I have heard their ads and am researching the product.  In that research I found this claim and decided to look into myself.

Here is what I found:

1) The 30-Day Empty Jar Guarantee on the website has a link that says View Details.  In all business transactions, you need to read the details because your opinion of "Risk Free" may not fall in line with the legal definition or the company's definition (which becomes the legal definition when you agree to it upon purchase.)  Here are the details:

http://www.texassuperfood.com/money-back-guarantee/

I am so confident that you will be more than satisfied with your purchase of The Dr. Dennis Black N.D. Family of Products, I am providing my 30 Day Empty Bottle Satisfaction Guarantee so you can try it!

The 30-Day Empty Bottle Satisfaction Guarantee allows you to try an item for 30 days. If, at any time during those 30 days, you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return the EMPTY JAR for store credit (less shipping and handling charges). If the product has not been opened or used, you can receive a full refund* (less shipping and handling charges).

The only way to get a refund is to not use the product.  Clear as day on the website.  That page also has a link to the Refund Policies:

http://www.texassuperfood.com/returns/

2) I am sure you selected the Auto-Fill option because you received a discount for it, correct?  In many companies, when you select a service/product/option to receive a discount, you often lose some benefits.  Their policies state you need an RMA to return any product; if you refuse the package, it will be returned and they have to discard it.  Without an RMA, you cannot receive the refund.  That is clear in their policies.  Did you ever request an RMA?  You should have been able to get an RMA for the second order and return it (at your cost) unopened to receive the refund, as long as it got there within 30 days of the order being placed.

The policies are clear on the website.  As a consumer, we all need to review such policies before making assumptions about meanings to terms and phrases.  Lifetime Guarantee means many different things to many different companies.  Risk Free is the same thing.  Read the fine print.
