Dr Move No Showed my scheduled move & never returned the 4 messages I left on their answering service. I scheduled a move giving them the exact list of items to move on June 29, 2013. I booked the move on Thursday, June 20 & can provide an email confirmation from them. I was told that my move was scheduled for 12 noon, but they would "put me down" for 9 am in case they had a cancellation & could move my things earlier.

On Friday, June 28, I was to receive a call to confirm my estimated time on June 29 - a call that I never received. I called and left a message that night around 8 pm. On Saturday morning, I called again around 9 am, hoping to speak to a human & confirm my move as we were moving from storage into a home & my husband & I needed to coordinate. I again left a message. Having not received a call & my scheduled noon time had passed, I called again at 12:30. This would begin the 12 or so calls I would try to place to get through to a human being over the course of the next 3 hours. I got a gentleman around 1:45, who said he would call my crew & get an ETA. He called me back and said they were delayed and it would be 2 pm. 2 pm came and went, as did more calls & another voicemail. By 3:30 it was evident they had ZERO intention of calling, showing up, or even bothering to inform me of ANYTHING AT ALL. My husband called another company and scheduled a move with less than 24 hours notice. I then called Dr Move for the final time, and left a message letting them know that no one had shown and that it was not acceptable and someone needed to call me. I received no such call. Then today, July 5, 2013, my husband and I both received robo-calls from Dr Move wanting to schedule a move. My husband was able to get the manager, Edwin's cell number and call him.

Edwin was non-plussed by the whole thing, and did not even apologize. He offered to "look into it" and find out what happened. Which quite frankly, is ridiculous given that it’s been 6 days since the contracted date, and their reason for not showing up and honoring their contract, let alone having the common decency to communicate with us, is moot at this point.
