A Patient went to have a root canal performed by Doctor Allen. After the root canal was performed, he asked the Doctor if he could pay the same charges that people with Dental Insurance would pay him for his services. Doctor Allen adamently refused to lower his price to the price that he receives for all patients with insurance. So, the patient is forced by the greedy doctor to pay over $200 more for the same service as the previous patient who has insurance coverage.
So, beware, It appears Dr Allens only concern is revenue for his practice. In the example above, the patient, a ten dollar an hour dock worker with a one year old daughter will have to work 25 extra hours in a single week to pay for Dr. Allens excessive fees.
Dr Allen will get paid his ecessive fee by this patient and I hope it makes a difference in his life because it is going to be a MAJOR hardship for his patient come up with the extra money.
Way to go Dr. Allen, you took advantage of a young man, who is working full time, going to school and trying to provide for his young daughter. I hope you sleep well at night!

I am the patient that Dr. Ronald Allen performed the root canal on. I asked my dad, who filed this report, to talk to the dentist/staff about the excessive charges for the procedure. I was sitting in a chair, inside East Indy Endodontics, while he talked to them.

how is this is ripoff?? You just stated a third party complaint - sorry don't believe it due to hearsay because that is what the report is
