Recieved a puppy from this man unknowing that it was in the final stages of parvovirus. It was ina kennel with atleast 10 other puppies, whom likely have it as well. His contract states no refunds or exchanges for puppies with parvovirus. He has atleast 50 adult great danes on his property, along with about 10 litters of puppies between newborn and 6 weeks old. He has kennels for them that are all over his property, not big enough inside to kennel more than one great dane, and he has 2 or 3 in every kennel. Kennels are full of mud which is normalk for WA, but no heat for these puppies, or adults. Puts down puppies he can not sell after so long. Be warned about this breeder. Local rescue groups have told me they are very familiar with this puppy mill. We need to put a stop to this!

Dreamcatcher Danes is not a puppy mill

AUTHOR: Traci - ()

I bought a 14 week old great Dane from Dreamcatcher a few weeks ago.  She is beautiful and is doing great.  We have also purchased a 2nd little girl from there.  She is much older.  If Wayne puts down his older danes why is he selling her...the oldest one left in the litter that can be really difficult to sell when she is so much older?

I would also like to add that we constantly travel.  Wayne cautioned us that that the puppy we originally wanted to purchase was younger and had not had her last set of shots yet.  Which means she might not have much protection from any diseases, etc while we were traveling.  He let us know that buying a puppy that he had already given all shots to, would be a better choice because he was worried about the health and safety of a younger puppy traveling around the country.

Yes, he has a lot of dogs and for the politically correct assholes of this new modern world we live in, I'm sure that's a horrible thing.  But from what we saw when we visited, they are all healthy and thriving.  And BTW, the law says you must have dog houses or shelters for animals because that's what protects them from the elements.  That's what he has...as well as straw, etc for insulating from the heat.  Come on people....animals that are used to living outside do quite well.  As for the puppies, they are well insulated from the cold in big buildings where the floor is lined with straw and where he has HEAT LAMPS for them....

and btw...if u received a puppy in the final stages of parvo...then you're a freaking idiot...because that means it wasn't moving and was horribly deydrated and near death.  Common sense says you should pick a puppy that is healthy thriving active and happy...not one lying there not moving...this virus is a 3 day virus where it kills them pretty quick....after the 1st 24 hours they go downhill FAST.  Which means your puppy probably got it after it left there or you were too retarded to pick an animal that was healthy...sorry, but sometimes animals get sick...they can get it from people coming in on his property with parvo on their shoes, or from your stupidity of dragging it around everywhere, too early...if his property was so horrible, ALL of the animals would have gotten it, instead of a VERY small percentage that MIGHT have had it...if your version of the story is true or accurate.
