About a month ago I had shopped around for invitations for my upcoming anniversary celebration this month. My wife and I shopped around online looking for invites and found some great designs online. Unfortunately we couldn't buy the invites directly from the manufacturer. We had use a reseller. We went with the cheapest one at dreamyoccasions dot com. This was my first mistake. The fake awards posted on the company website and AOL email address should have been a signal but I still sent them money for invites. They charged my credit card and sent out invites WITHOUT ever reviewing the design form I had submitted or the wording I wanted on them. When I got the invites they were the wrong style and design and blank! They did not have any wording on them either!

The true rip off occurred when I tried to ask for my money back. Forget about the customer always being right. That just isn't the motto over at dreamy occasions. The person who processed my order refused to speak with me. ignoring my multiple phone calls and emails. Finally, blocked caller ID and they picked up. I asked to speak with the owner or supervisor and they refused. I threatened to call the police and the girl I was speaking to actually said she would "hunt me down" if I did. I couldn't believe how unprofessional and rude these people are. In the end I issued a charge-back with my credit car company and got my money back.

The real story

In June of 2007 they submitted an order
that clearly stated that card that once submitted there can be no changes because it was going into production. Three days later they contacted us and asked if they could make changes.
So we contacted the company and put a hold on the order.
They changed over 12 times in less then 4 days. They changed wording, type styles, layout and etc. and each time they received a corrected proof of the order. The last change they said it was final and to put it thru, when we reviewed it we saw that there was misspellings and explained that the order could not be put thru, and the problem with it. In return they sent a very rude and nasty letter to us.
(which we still have)
We realize that there was really no way to please them.
So we canceled the order and immediately returned all the money to them,
what else were we supposed to do

While this other story is quite interesting,
it never happened .They claim that there was a charge back issued on their credit card, we would like some proof of this to be provided because to date we can prove that we have never had a charge back.

We would also like to see the receipt from the order
that will prove the date and this entire story was made up
and a sample of this "wrong invite that was blank."


We did try our best to satisfy them, but we were not able to.
They have continued to write these outrageous stories about us.

We have the paper work on all of the above and after much time and expense we
were able to pull the records from some of the companies that they have written these stories to.
These companies turned over the records after reviewing everything.
and realized what was going on

We are all for writing complaints on the web
and let it go over a year.
They do nothing but continue to come up with these fictitious stories that they
have made up.

We have contacted the proper agencies
and if this continues (A&N)) we will be left with no choice except to take further action.
They really are leaving no other option.


We have been in business for almost 20 years
and about 99% of all of our customers are satisfied with us
and most of our business is from referrals.

We have never come across anything like this.
