I ordered a wedding dress listed on the website, www.dressale.com on July 8th, 2010.
I chose the dress in the photograph and then followed the website's instructions giving my measurements and the color of fabric to be used.  I placed the order using my VISA and received an order and confirmation number.  Within 30 minutes of placing order, an international number called my cell phone and in broken English, asked me to email all of the info I had just placed on the order.  They couldn't even tell me what the email was, so I had to go from the address used in my Gmail confirmation of sale, which was 

HKMASO@gmail.com.  The next day, I got an email back saying "We need you to send $20 more dollars or we will not make money on this dress. [continued below]....
....."  This is AFTER I'd received an order confirmation with the price listed on their website and AFTER my VISA was charged through my bank.  I told them absolutely not and that they could not ask for more money.  I got an email back saying, "Okay, but we're not going to make any money on this dress." ?????  I never heard back from the company again.  Weeks passed and I was told I would RECEIVE the dress by the end of July.  Not only have I not received it, but I've never gotten any email confirmations of shipping or tracking info.  When I emailed the company several days ago to inquire about the shipping info, I received some 15 emails avoiding the simple questions, "When will my dress be shipped?"  "If it has already shipped, what company did you use and what is the tracking number?"  I have never received any legitimate answers regarding these questions.  The only thing I did receive that made any sense were two photographs of the dress they were shipping.  It was NOT the dress I ordered.  Not even close.  When I asked about this, again, I got ridiculous responses avoiding my questions.  Clearly this company takes photographs from high-end fashion dresses, sells "these dresses" to you and then has someone shoddily sew together something that does not even closely resemble the original photograph on the website.

I STILL don't have my wedding dress, STILL don't have any shipping information, and even if i GET the dress, it is not even close to what was ordered for my wedding day.

I have just received my bridesmaid dress from Dressale. I know how it going. I talked with customer service on the live cart, and you should first login in and then make an order. And their customer service Mary called me to confirm the information, I tracked my dress on the live chart, more than a week ago they told me that my dress was ok and would be shipped to me, that was fine. While it was delayed for almost one week, I was nervous, but they did give me a discount for my trouble. Several days ago I attend my friends wedding as bridesmaid, the dress were great on me.
